Starting The Day Off Right…
How about some start-your-morning questions today?
Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate? Donuts or muffins? Bacon, ham, or sausage? Eggs (if so, how do you like ’em?), pancakes, or French toast?Yeah, I’m not sure why, but breakfast was on my mind when it came time to write this post.

In Your Hands
So I typed “THE END” on Tobi Tobias Mystery # 2 last night. Today, of course brings printing and editing, but at least one major step is behind me. Phew.
I’m currently working my way through Harlan Coben’s Live Wire, though it’s slow going since I’ve been too busy writing to go to the gym (aka my reading place). But trust me when I say I can’t wait to get back to it asap.
So what are you reading this week?

Three Things
Another weekend has come and gone, leaving me three new things to share.
I got to pick up DD # 1 for her fall break from college.
I saw Girl On The Train with DH on Saturday night. Emily Blunt did great acting, but I wasn’t a fan of the storyline.
Saw Holiday Inn on Broadway with my daughters on Sunday. There were some really great tap numbers in this show!
Your turn. Tell us three things from your weekend…

Weather Bits
Since Matthew is making a lot of news at the moment, I thought we’d do some weather related bits.
Worse weather event you’ve personally dealt with? What weather event frightens you most? Rain or snow? Cold or hot?Enjoy your weekend, everyone!

On My Plate
It’s been a while since I’ve posted a writing update, so here we go…
*I’m approaching the finish line of yet another book–this one is the 2nd book (THIRTY SECOND DEATH) in next year’s Tobi Tobias Mystery series.
*The moment I press “send” on that book, it’s on to final pass proofs for THE SILENCE OF THE FLANS–the 2nd book in my Emergency Dessert Squad Mysteries.
*The moment I press “send” on those final proofs, I go into copy edits for PATTERNED AFTER DEATH–the 12th book in my Southern Sewing...

Back in the Game
With all the traveling as of late, and the college visits these past two days, my writing time has been a bit low. Today, I need to hit it hard even though I really just want a 24 hour do-nothing day.
Do you have a quote you really like in life?

Inquiring Minds Want To Know
I’m on a college visit (the 2nd in as many days) with DD # 2 today and operating on little sleep.
So I have two questions for today…
If you looked at colleges when you were a kid, did you end up going to the one you thought looked best on paper? Whatare you reading?~Elizabeth (aka Laura)

Three Things
What a fabulous weekend I had…filled with so many fun moments, picking “three” to illustrate is a bit tricky.
I traveled to Jackson, MO on Friday for a Murder Mystery Train event with three fellow authors and nearly 60 readers. Since I flew into St. Louis and drove down from there, I got to sneak in lunch with my buddy, Lynn. Then it was off to Jackson.
One of the highlights for me was getting to meet readers whom I’ve developed a friendship with over the past few years (thanks to social medi...

On The Move Bits
In honor of the Mystery Train ride I’m doing with a big group of readers this weekend (I finally get to meet our own Debbie S., in person), I figured we should do some transportation bits today.
Have you ever taken a train anywhere (other than commuting purposes)? Where did you go? Plane, Train, Bus, or Automobile–what’s your favorite? Longest straight drive (hour wise) you’ve ever done? Where were you going? Last time you were on a plane?~Elizabeth (aka Laura)
