On The Tube…
What TV show (currently on the air) is a must-watch for you?
Me? I’m a Survivor fan, myself. And while I’ve only caught a handful of episodes from each season (thanks to free on demand), I like The Middle, too.

You, As the Book Shopper
I packed up yesterday’s editing and went to the café at my local Barnes & Noble. Sometimes I just need a change of scenery, you know?
Anyway, looking at all those spine-out books in all those aisles, I have to wonder what makes a person pick a book. So I have some questions for you today…
When you go to a bookstore, do you go to buy a specific book? Or do you wander around until you find something? And if the latter, what are you drawn to? In other words, what makes you pick up a book and gi...November 6, 2016
Three Things
Boy, the weekends sure do go fast, don’t they?
That said, I’ve got my three highlights from my weekend to share with all of you.
DH and I had a dinner/movie date on Friday night. We saw Hacksaw Ridge. Wow. If you can handle the violence that comes with a war movie, it was a great story. Wow.
Then, on Saturday, we drove to PA to see DD # 1 perform in her school’s production of Tennessee Williams’ This Property is Condemned. She did an amazing job. After the show, we went out for dinner and ic...

Bits of This and Bits of That
Bits time!
What was the first pet you ever had? What’s a pet you don’t have, but wish you did? What is one thing you’re thankful for this year? Something you’re looking forward to about Thanksgiving this year?Have a great weekend! See you back here for “Three Things” on Monday!

Just You
Two thumbs up to my “me-day” yesterday. Wow, I wish I could wrap my head around the simple fact that a day off once in a while–doing something I enjoy, is good for the soul.
Which got me thinking about all of you. Seriously.
Take a moment and think of 3 things you truly enjoy doing (a place you like to go, something you like to do, etc) by yourself and tell us what they are. Then try to sprinkle one of those things into your day between now and next week…
Here’s 3 of mine…

A Long Awaited Me-Day
Well, I did it…and ahead of schedule! My super secret want-to project proposal is now in my agent’s inbox. Which means I wait. And move on to the next have-to on a list that seems never-ending at times.
So, come Thursday, I’m back at the desk, this time for final pass edits on DEATH IN ADVERTISING. Gotta get that knocked out fairly quickly so I can move on to developmental edits for 30 SECOND DEATH. Once that’s done, I move on to writing the third book in the series…
But for now…
For today…

Now and After That?
Proposal is done. First draft, anyway. Now I need to read/edit.
Baby steps…
I’m still working on Harlan Coben’s HOME. I’ve not been to the gym as much the past few days, so it’s slow going. But what I’ve read so far, I like. I’ll be back at it this morning (yay!) for a glorious hour or so before I have to read/edit my proposal.
What are you reading now? And what’s up after that?

Three Things
Another weekend, another blur.
I didn’t do anything with FAFSA this weekend as I’d intended, but I’ll get to it. This whole 5 months earlier than normal thing is just weird.
Anyhoo, my weekend…
I spent time each day working on my want-to writing project proposal. It’s coming along nicely, I think. Hoping to have it to my agent by Sunday night. Since it’s top secret at this point, I’ll use this picture to illustrate…
Next up, DD # 2 had some friends over Saturday evening for some Halloween fu...

Last Minute Bits
Got in late last night from an MS gig, but didn’t want to forget about Bits day.
So here we go…
If you were President, what one thing would you do (can be serious/can be funny)? What popular Trick or Treat candy could you do without? What popular Trick or Treat candy do you love most? One plan for your weekend?Have a great weekend, everyone!
