Since I played hooky on Friday, my weekend was truly 3 days long. So that makes this week’s “Three Things” even easier.

Sorry for the late hello. Moving a bit slow today on account of tweaking my back.

How did I tweak it, you ask?

By carrying the cat in his carrier (putting him in car, etc) to the vet to…*drumroll* have his back looked at.

Irony, no?

Eat a piece of medicinal chocolate in my honor today, okay?

There were others I loved, as well, but these two were my absolute favorites. And honestly, if I was flipping channels and came across either of these, I’d definitely watch.

Today is National Letter Writing Day according to this site.

So, since it’s Writing Thursday around here, I challenge each one of you to write a letter to someone today–your spouse, your kids, a favorite teacher, a parent, a friend, someone.

I don’t know about you, but I treasure letters and cards I get in the mail so much more than I do an email.

Ta-Da!

As part of Monday’s Three Things, I shared with all of you the cover for THE SILENCE OF THE FLANS (book # 2 in my Emergency Dessert Squad Mysteries).

Well, now I get to share the cover of another book with you. ThisisDEATH IN ADVERTISING (book # 1 in my Tobi Tobias E-Mystery series). It will be out February 7th and it is available for pre-order now. Fun note on this series: the first 3 books in this series will all release in 2017…that means no big wait from one book to the next.

THE Reading Spot

Three Things

I’ve got threethings from my weekend to share with you today…

Took DD # 1 back to college on Saturday. While it’s hard to see her go, I’m excited for her as she enters her final year!

DD # 2 and I took a little “us” time along the river on Sunday. Of course ice cream was involved…
