An Enhanced Escape

Before I headed out to Wyoming, I stopped by the bookstore and picked up two new books, one of which was mentioned by one of our regular readers/posters here over the past few weeks.

I’ve Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella was over 400 pages, but my plane ride there/home and a sleepless night during my daughter’s evacuation allowed me to finish the whole thing.

Friday, I took myself to the city for a few hours. I started my morning with breakfast (and some reading time) at my favorite haunt.

Games, Then and Now

When I was little (as in pre-school aged), my favorite game was Candy Land…

 

 

 

 

 

 

As I got a little older it switched to Pay Day and Stop Thief (anyone remember that one?).

 

 

 

 

These days, I like Backgammon, Sequence, and Settlers of Catan, with an occasional game of Disney Sorry thrown into the mix.
