An Enhanced Escape
Before I headed out to Wyoming, I stopped by the bookstore and picked up two new books, one of which was mentioned by one of our regular readers/posters here over the past few weeks.
I’ve Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella was over 400 pages, but my plane ride there/home and a sleepless night during my daughter’s evacuation allowed me to finish the whole thing.

I'm reading "A Discovery of Witches" by Deborah Harkness. It is a 3 book novel series. This one has 579 pages. I'm not a fast reader and like to catch every detail. So, this one will take me a bit longer. There's a lot of historical background that spans Clovis and the Crusades, the Knight's Templar and the American Revolution. Ashmole 782 is the main topic in this book. Diana, the main character, is a Witch and Matthew who helps her is a vampire. It has passion, obsession, magic, alchemy and science.
