After morning drop off, stopped at the grocery again to pick up bagels, cat food, cream cheese and then looked at the manager’s specials. I really need to stay away from that section.
Got to the computer by 10:30 and wrote 2,090 on the non-Zoë book. Took a break to do some house work. Got back to the computer at noon with a sandwich. After re-reading what I wrote and tweaking a few things, wrote another 1,778 before breaking for carpool.
Man…it’s HOT. After dinner, news and dishes, back to the...

Sunday… plans for a productive day. Except when we go out to get that book cover we forgot about it.
I was awakened by the pounce of cats because Mini-Me said my blinds needed to be open. So she let the cats in. It was 6:44 am. Sunday morning.
KILL!
I got up and fed the hungry beasts, made sure Mini-Me had eaten something besides cake.
A lot of the morning consisted of coaching her on how to wash her clothes, which ones to hang and not dry and cleaning her room cause…wow. Teenager spooge ( I miss...

I knew going into this day it wasn’t going to be productive.
Took Mini-Me to see The Giver, (Thank you Science Guy) of which I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t know the book or the story, though she’d read it in school last year. She enjoyed it too. But wow… movie tickets, even matinees, are getting just too damn expensive. Two people seeing a 10:30 am showing was $17.50!! This theater used to sell matinees at $6 before 3:00 pm. Not anymore. They updated their look and put in recliners and B...

Just…one of those days.
After morning schedule, went to the grocery store to take advantage of some specials, not to mention grabbing snacks. Its weird how there’s never enough in the house. It doesn’t matter if you’re single, married, have room mates—it’s like you always need something. Toilet paper, light bulbs, cat food, oil…it amazes me.
Got to the computer at 11:15 and continued working on covers and layouts. Broke for a quick sandwich while reading some blogposts I needed to catch up on....

My original plan for this morning was to mow. I really need to mow, do some yard work. Weeding. But it’s soooooo hot! And I don’t want to melt.
After the morning routine and a great drop off, I went to the UPS store by the house to mail a package. I wanted to try the flat rate box. Only the UPS store doesn’t carry the flat rate, that’s USPS. Sigh. I know where two post offices are, but they are not close and Ineed to get work done. I HAVEto increase my word count, production, etc. so I put the...

I have no idea why my website is moving so slow. I chalk it up tohaving a crappy hosting service. I’m looking at other options.
After morning activities and errands (a few groceries, including the soda can she needed and paper towels, not to mention some veggies—they had sweet corn 4 for a $1!)and a quick stop at a few places, got to the computer at 10:00 ish and worked on covers and layouts. Seraphim production is running behind and I need to get that finishedalong with the first four Zoë book...

The morning schedule ran a lot smoother for the 2nd day of school. Even the drop off, which put me getting to the computer at 9:30 am. Wrote up the Writer Mom Diary (that’s what these are) and a few other blogs I contribute to, rounding around 1, 298 words of non-fiction.
After a quick break I did some outlining beatson a few projects and did some production schedule rearranging. This thing is constantly changing and morphing, but I hope to release a lot of stuff in a small amount of time, so...

We rolled out of bed at our usual time. She got ready—nervously—while I fed the catsand started some breakfast.Got her to school on time, even through the new parents and drop off. Ran a few errands, then got back home in time for a walk, then a shower.
Got to the computer close to 11:00 am and worked to finish up the UA newsletter, adding a thank you to Kobo cause they created a UA page for us with MarkLefebvre. Then after a break for lunch, and an episode of SoA, I went...

Today was a day of preparation. Tomorrow… SCHOOL STARTS. Dun, dun, duuuuun. For me that means readjusting the work weekback to itsregularly scheduled program. That translates into wing’n it cause it puts back into place pre-arranged places to be.
So when we finally rolled out of bed this morning (late night) and had our tea and coffee, we sorted and started laundry, double checked school supplies, swept, mopped, checked the fridge to make sure we were set for lunches and failed to find last ye...
