Write For The Ones That Count

Pink

Picture taken on morning walk, inserted for quick break in monotony.

There’s a hawk crying outside, every day, and every morning. Usually I don’t notice things like that, but recently Not-My-Cat deposited three more kittens beneath my back deck (yes I’m going to nab that little sucker and get her fixed!) and though I already have 3 of these tykers running about my house, I don’t want anything like the Circle Of Life to pinch out those three little cuties anytime soon.

If I saw the hawk dive for...

Free Fiction Aftermath

stormFree Fiction will be delayed for today. About…. 6 o’clock last night (Thursday) a humongous storm with high winds and loads of rain came through and put all my plans for the evening on hold. Lost power, downed trees, power lines, and a whole lotta water. I had kittens huddled under my car!

A friend had a tree come down in her front yard and another had a house size tree limb hit the ground between her house and a car parked on the side of the road. Yikes!

There will be free fiction, I’m just be...

Free Fiction Friday: “Aurora’s Harbinger”

There are no surprises in a clairvoyant’s life. The touch of a dress, the brush of an arm, even the whiff of a scent drives visions of what’s to come. Knowing the future is a never ending series of carefully taken steps of cause and effect.

The question is…how do you make it stop?

“Aurora’s Harbinger” is free on this website for one week only. After that week, it will be available for purchase for $2.99 at all online ebook stores.

Twitter Hacked

file0001740141496Just what I wanted. To wake up on my first day of vacation to find my twitter account shot off some dipshit’s phishing spam using my account.

I apologize for anyone who received the tweet—it was not sent by me. I have deleted facebook apps, twitter apps, and changed all passwords. I even had a suspicious email from “Twitter headquarters” in my email, warning me they had reset my password and I needed to long in with “this” link and change it.

If it happens again, I’ll be deleting my Twitter Acc...

Vacation!

Yep.

After three years, I’m taking a real vacation. This means NO writing, NO editing, just reading and enjoying family. I am so excited. It’s just me, my mom, and my sisters. This has been 2 years in the planning stages (we finally all had time!).

So for today—and because I did a part two on Tuesday for Chimera—free fiction will return next Friday (June 7th) with a brand new story about Espers!

Oh! The feature story for this week is Acumen of Desideratum. For those who plan on reading the Grimo...
