Free Comic Book Day is upon us again, just in time for the Iron Man 3 movie premiere. As always I will be at Cards, Comics and Collectibles Comic Store at Reisterstown, Maryland, signing with Adam Kubert and Steve Conley.

This Year’s Convention Sketchbook Cover

I just finished this year’s sketchbook cover, featuring my creator-owned character, Jungle Queen. (This is the character that will be in the French market only in few years.)
I took a year off from doing convention sketchbooks so that I can save up all my art for this year’s sketchbook. It’ll be a jungle themed sketchbook filled with only my creator-owned characters so that I don’t have to deal with the legal headaches from the last couple of years.
I’m hoping to get this sketchbook out by San Diego Comic Con or sooner, but it all depends on how much art I have. I need to do about a dozen pin-ups or so to fill up the volume and with my other work commitment, it’s gonna be tight.
If it’s not ready by San Diego Comicon in July, then I’ll just publish it for Baltimore Comic Con in September.
I haven’t figured out the title of this sketchbook yet. But once I figured it out, I’ll let you guys know. ;-)
