Frank Cho – Bill Willingham’s Secret Project

Big news. Bill Willingham announced our secret project at FABLES CON this past weekend.

This is NOT a comic book project for DC nor Marvel. It’ll be a full length novel published by a major book publisher.

It’s an unnamed fantasy book project about a daughter of an ancient god who tries to undercover her past and maybe save the world in the process. This book will have dragons, vampires, snow giants, werewolves and a talking chimpanzee.

I’ll be illustrating it in my intense ink line style, similar to Franklin Booth and Bernie Wrightson in Frankenstein.

Okay, I’ll be at WONDERCON in Anaheim, California this weekend.

I’ll be selling my out-of-print WOMEN BOOK 2 hardcover art book. (While supplies last.)

Also, I’ll be doing convention commissions at the show. I have TWO SPOTS open.

I’m charging $800 for a full figure PENCIL DRAWING. It’ll be illustrated on a large bristol board. (14″ x 21″)

I will not mail the art out. You will need to be at the show to pick it up or have a friend pick it up. If you’re not there to pick it up, I’ll sell it to whoever is at the show.

When Apes Attack – Wolverine #4 Sneak Peek

Well, Marvel just released this teaser image for Savage Wolverine #4, and things ain’t looking so good for the hairy Canadian.

As you can see, I’m a big fan of Ray Harryhausen and Willis O’Brien, the great pioneers of stop motion animation who inspired countless artists, writers and movie makers all over the world. King Kong is one of my favorite movies of all time. And Savage Wolverine Issue #4 is my nod to those great visionary giants, Ray Harryhausen and Willis O

Brien.

Issues #4 and #5 will be a roller coaster of a ride as the mysteries of the island unfold at an alarming rate. I’ll be introducing two new villains to the Marvel Universe which will have a profound impact down the road. So don’t miss out.
