“There’s nothing uglier than an ugly mouth, there’s nothing filthier than a filthy heart.” Abhijit Naskar | Pani, Agua, Water, It’s All One

There’s nothing uglier than an ugly mouth, there’s nothing filthier than a filthy heart. I have said many a times – extreme logic ruins the sweetness of life, just like extreme of faith ruins all common sense, and facilitates superstition. That’s why you gotta be grown up enough to practice the human balance between logic and fiction, even if it means attracting mockery from militant atheists as well as religious fundamentalists.

Ours is an Age of Reckoning | Abhijit Naskar | Pani, Agua, Water, It’s All One

Ours is an age of reckoning – savages call it wokeness, I call it correctiveness. And it is only through correction that this savage species might, just might, one day become human. It is only through correction we apes might one day usher into the dawn of humanity.

As usual, those who are fixed in the ways of the forefathers would instantly react to this as woke propaganda. So be it.

Propaganda is everywhere – bigoted apes give in to their primitive ancestry and propagate hate and division – I, a civilized ape, refuse my innate primitiveness and choose to propagate love and inclusion. Savages choose tradition, I am human, so I choose transformation.

World War Peace (The Sonnet) | Abhijit Naskar | World War Human: 100 New Earthling Sonnets

The same paradigm that produces
soldiers, produces terrorists.
In fact, soldiers are just
government approved terrorists.

Till the military is the most
dishonorable profession on earth,
you can forget about world peace,
forget about peaceful coexistence.

Military are the real terrorists,
regular terrorists are the byproducts,
all manufactured by state leaders,
sponsored by jungle civilians.

Love of country is the root of all war,
Every patriot is a potential terrorist.
Learn to love the world as one country,
The paradigm will shift from war to peace.

Democracy is people-approved dictatorship (Sonnet 1306) | Abhijit Naskar | Visvavatan: 100 Demilitarization Sonnets

Doctors are not official representatives,
Yet they do their job quite efficiently.
Teachers are not official representatives,
Yet they do their job quite respectfully.

Public transport drivers ain’t representatives,
Yet they carry their duties quite diligently.
Factory workers ain’t official representatives,
Yet they fulfill their tasks rather honorably.

All the professions that actually require
some tangible skillsets and expertise,
don’t rely on the jungle whim of democracy.
Yet the most glorified profession of all,
has no performance standards compulsory.

If this is your idea of a civilized democracy,
No wonder you still crave peace in nuclear weapons!
Only monkeys could confuse homicide with defense,
It takes a human to plant peace through illumination.

Chatgpt is Cheatgpt (The Sonnet) | Abhijit Naskar | World War Human: 100 New Earthling Sonnets

Download autotune and
everybody is a singer,
download midjourney and
everybody is a painter,

download chatgpt and
everybody is a writer.
This is not innovation, it is fraud,
and those who practice it, are
the lowest form of animals on earth.

Either do something original,
or expand on another’s originality,
with honor and integrity, but never
confuse plagiarism with creativity.

Chatgpt is cheatgpt,
Better do manual labor than lie.
Even onlyfans is more honorable
than content made by Generative AI.

Arabi Azadi Ashiqui (The Sonnet) | Abhijit Naskar | World War Human: 100 New Earthling Sonnets

The more you persecute a certain community,
the more you’ll find me your fiercest enemy.
Defending that community with my last breath,
I shall remind you of your own utter futility.

The more you dehumanize a certain people,
more you’ll find me your uncorrupt impediment.
The people will be safe, even if I’m annihilated –
In the process, world will witness your impotence.

More you criminalize a certain community,
more in my eyes you lose right to dignity.
Honor is earned through behavior, not by
excuse of throne, scripture or nationality.

Systemically propagate fear all you want –
In the end, you’re at mercy of my civilian judgment.
Belonging is my bible, conscience is my koran –
Behave like a bully, and I’m your celestial guardian.

Whenever intolerance raises its fangs,
hiding behind menorah, saffron or crucifix,
Every Samaritan must become Samurai –
Every Civilian – Arabi, Azadi, Ashiqui!

Cup of Coffee (The Sonnet) | Abhijit Naskar | World War Human: 100 New Earthling Sonnets

A cup is just crockery
till there is coffee in it.
A head is just a skull
till there’s a mind in it.

Clothes are just fabric
till there’s a character in ’em.
Shoes are just footwear
till there’s a journey in ’em.

Chest is just a bunch of bones
till there’s a heart in it.
A body is just a bag of flesh
till there’s a being in it.

Why I Write? Abhijit Naskar

You know why I write books? Because it is the one thing about the outcome of which I don’t give a damn. I don’t care if they gather dust, I don’t care if they don’t sell. In fact, among my hundred plus works, there are a few that have sold barely ten copies. Yet, am I bothered! Nope!

I don’t write to sell books, I write because my mind teeters on the edge of psychosis if I spend a single day without writing. Sure, the ultimate mission behind my legacy is the construction of a humane world, but if you get down to the actual morale of the moment – the only recompense I get out of it all, is the felicity of putting my fervor on paper – thus immortalizing them for eons to come. That’s how this one life could produce such an impossibly inexhaustible amount of literature in the first place – because I dream my ideas, breathe my ideas, and live my ideas. Better a lesser read genius, than a misread genius. Or to put it plainer still – I am not a writer, I am an anomaly – for better or for worse, I am an anomaly.

On Enlightenment, 2024 | Abhijit Naskar | Iman Insaniyat, Mazhab Muhabbat: Pani, Agua, Water, It’s All One

Buddhas, Christs and Mevlanas don’t live in caves, they walk amongst you. You know why? Because we cannot change the world from the sidelines. You may play the make believe of nonattachment all you want – and it may bring you personal comfort for the time being, but it doesn’t alleviate human suffering from the world one bit.

The enlightenment bit is a small part of the equation. How you live afterwards determines the true worth of that enlightenment. If your idea of enlightenment revolves around some prehistoric routine of sitting and chanting, or crouching and praying, then such enlightenment is no enlightenment, but derangement.

Amor Armada (El Soneto – The Sonnet) | Abhijit Naskar | Abigitano: El Divino Refugiado

“Amor Armada (El Soneto)

No quiero alcohol, no quiero cocaína.
Mártir para el mundo, ¡soy Amor Armada!”

“Amor Armada (The Sonnet)

I don’t do drugs,
languages are my LSD.
Half-lovers crave escape,
I crave absolute unity.

Music is my MDMA,
Cultures, my cocaine.
Languages are my LSD,
People are my heaven.

Those drunk on love, language and
culture, need no artificial stimulant.
Only the half-lovers and the half-dead,
chase booze, drugs and institutions.

I’m drunk with the spirit of sacrifice,
You can keep your puny bottled charisma.
In a world of broken glass and
cigarette buds, I am Amor Armada.”
