National Reserve (The Sonnet) | Abhijit Naskar | World War Human: 100 New Earthling Sonnets

Every nation has its Netanyahu,
Somewhere they’re called Trump,
Somewhere they are Recep Erdoğan,
Somewhere they are Meloni or Modi,
Somewhere they’re called Imran Khan.

Thus Christ becomes a vessel of hate,
Koran is used to peddle division.
Saffron substitutes the color of blood,
Discrimination becomes the new tradition.

Somewhere they cut Islam from curriculum,
Somewhere they convert museum into mosque,
Somewhere they erase black history – it’s all
part-n-parcel of the same nationalist muck.

Rip the mask of a nationalist patriot,
You’ll find dormant a homicidal maniac.
Nationalism has no religion or ethnicity,
Only appearance changes, not the nut.

Beware of these nutjobs of nationalism,
selling you the jungle wrapped in tradition!
If you don’t vote them off their throne asap,
they’ll turn a free nation into reservation.

Arabi Azadi Ashiqui (The Sonnet) | Abhijit Naskar | World War Human: 100 New Earthling Sonnets

The more you persecute a certain community,
the more you’ll find me your fiercest enemy.
Defending that community with my last breath,
I shall remind you of your own utter futility.

The more you dehumanize a certain people,
more you’ll find me your uncorrupt impediment.
The people will be safe, even if I’m annihilated –
In the process, world will witness your impotence.

More you criminalize a certain community,
more in my eyes you lose right to dignity.
Honor is earned through behavior, not by
excuse of throne, scripture or nationality.

Systemically propagate fear all you want –
In the end, you’re at mercy of my civilian judgment.
Belonging is my bible, conscience is my koran –
Behave like a bully, and I’m your celestial guardian.

Whenever intolerance raises its fangs,
hiding behind menorah, saffron or crucifix,
Every Samaritan must become Samurai –
Every Civilian – Arabi, Azadi, Ashiqui!

Dear John Twitter (Delete Twitter Sonnet – Statement, Aug 2024) | Abhijit Naskar | The Divine Refugee

For a long time I’ve been
backin’ away from twitter,
but I didn’t cut tie completely
hoping that it might get better.

Now that a far right billionaire baboon
has turned it into the internet sewer,
there’s no point to hanging on to filth,
twitter used to be relevant, but no longer.

From time to time, colonial morons try to
bring back the good ol’ days of segregation.
It’s up to the human society to take charge,
and castrate their ambition through isolation.

Quarantine rabid dogs by absolute dissociation,
To entertain filth is to perpetrate uncivilization.

Palestine is the new Poland (The Controversial Sonnet) | Abhijit Naskar | Dunya Benim, Sorumluluk Benim: Little Planet on The Prairie

Życie jest jednym wielkim uprzedzeniem,
chyba że kwestionujesz wszystko.
Dobroć jest odważniejsza niż okrucieństwo,
Wszędzie jest dom, każdy jest rodziną.

Płoń tak jasno, świat ożywa,
Służba to najwyższa mądrość.
Obudź się, powstań i śmiało ogłoś:
mój świat, moja odpowiedzialność.

You should be more disgusted at
Churchill and Columbus than Hitler,
the fact that you are not,
shows how ludicrously little you’re
aware of humanitarian disasters.

Palestine is the new Poland,
yet hypocrites only shout for Ukraine.
Tears must fit liberty’s narrative,
if not, they’re thrusted terrorist blame.

Mein Kampf ist nicht vorbei, bis alle frei sind,
Surrender not to the narrative of fake freedom.
Greatest freedom is freedom from selfishness,
a capacity mastered only by the living human.

The Great Superstition (Sonnet) | Abhijit Naskar | Little Planet on The Prairie

Fundamentalists radicalize
children for illegal terrorism,
nationalists radicalize
children for legal terrorism,

I radicalize children for peace-n-oneness,
using only their brain and backbone,
without spilling the blood of human.
Only leeches live by guns and call it honor,
brainwashed by the witchcraft of patriotism.

Fundamentalism, nationalism, these are the real
witchcraft, still practiced by modern savages.
Teachers, coppers, politicians, civil servants,
all (most) mindlessly carry the paradigm of death.

Give me a hundred humanitarian hearts,
I’ll wipe out the very concept of war.
Pack your flags with other talismans,
there is no greater superstition
than the superstition of nation.

The Great Beyond (Sonnet) | Abhijit Naskar | Little Planet on The Prairie

Beyond fright there is flight,
Beyond blight there is light.
Beyond hate there is height,
Beyond MAGAts there is mind.

Beyond rigidity there is growth,
Beyond bigotry there is illumination.
Beyond stereotypes there is society,
Beyond segregation there is civilization.

Beyond fundamentalism there is faith,
Beyond division there is divinity.
Beyond prejudice there is piety,
Beyond scripture there is sanctity.

Beyond the church there is Christ,
Beyond koran there is kainat (cosmos).
Beyond tradition there is transcendence,
Beyond conditioning there is concord.

Rx for Fascism (Sonnet) – Abhijit Naskar, Neurosonnets

Gaza is not for sale,
Greenland is not for sale,
Ukraine is not for sale,
Canada is not for sale.

Planet Earth is not real estate,
to pander to your predatory psychopathy.
If you are so hard up for cash, we can all
chip in to buy you some good ol shock therapy.

When someone plays fast and loose with rights
and freedom, their place is either in the jungle
or in a mental institution, not in office.
Fascism, fundamentalism and nationalism,
these are the ultimate mental illness.

Children of South (World Sonnet) – Abhijit Naskar, Neurosonnets

Africa is not a charity case,
Colombia is not a charity case,
Bolivia is not a charity case,
Venezuela is not a charity case,

Mexico is not a charity case,
Philippines is not a charity case,
Thailand is not a charity case,
India is not a charity case –

the global south is not a charity case,
it’s rich with both mind and minerals.
Human poverty in the global south is
manufactured by the northern apes.

Awake, Arise, O Children of South,
you got more brain, heart and backbone
than all old and new colonials combined.
Humans of Earth everywhere, all rise ‘n roar,
the first global goal is to fire the fascists.

The Uncultured Linguist (Sonnet) – Abhijit Naskar, Iftar-e Insaniyat: The First Supper

The way apes understand what’s cultured,
I’m not that sort of cultured –
I’m humanly cultured – which means,
I live as cure for tribalism, not coddle;

I abolish chains, not worship them,
I do not entertain stereotypes –
I question and denounce prejudice,
both external and internal.

MAGA, Zionism, Hindutva, Prima gli Italiani,
Khalistan, Islamism, Türkiye Yüzyılı,
these are proof, we come from the monkeys;
while humans take a snooze, monkeys roam free.

Dogma is barrier to understanding,
blind faith is obstacle to holiness.
Assumption is obstacle to communication,
stereotypes are obstacle to awareness.

“I turn junk into jewel, I reclaim the fakes as fuel.” – Abhijit Naskar on Fake Naskar Memes

“I have no image that can be smeared, for I long lit the self to cinders.”

“There are many fake memes
floating about the internet,
one of them misquotes me saying –
‘spare the toilet, spoil the floor.’

I turn junk into jewel,
I reclaim the fakes as fuel.
Spare the toilet, spoil the floor.
Spare the fascist, spoil the world.”
