Live Torch (The Sonnet)

Be a live torch amidst the darkest night.
If not you, who else will light up the society!
Be a living weapon to defend the meek in fright.
If not you, who else will guard humanity!
Be a breathing sword to scare away inhumanities.
If not you, who else will draw the righteous line!
Be a valiant shield to stand against atrocities.
If not you, who else will call that duty mine!
Be a daring drum announcing the beats of acceptance.
If not you, who else will be the emblem of inclusion!
Be a fierce arrow to penetrate the clouds of conformity.
If not you, who else will free people from segregation!
Be the liberating nuke that demolishes all dogmatic shell.
If not you, who else will burn delivering the humanizing kernel!

Salutation (The Sonnet)

My salutation to you O Human,
One who has broken the ties of creed.
The light was always within you,
Destroying the dogmas you set it free.
When your heart is labeled,
The world stays hypnotized in darkness.
The moment you rip them to pieces,
Tides of light awaken all synapses.
All separation is born of labels,
Tear those labels and there'll be light.
Once there is oneness in heart,
Oneness of humanity will manifest alright.
Emancipation lies in losing the I in Us,
Once you do, you will wake up the universe.

Honor He Wrote Sonnet 53

Better a marvelheaded idiot,
Than a marbleheaded bigot.
Better a self-proclaimed dope,
Than an arrogant dilettante.
Better a kindhearted commoner,
Than a cockeyed intellectualist.
Better an egalitarian infidel,
Than a dogmatizing evangelist.
All dogmas are born in the mind,
So is the duster to wipe them.
It is up to you what will you be,
Vessel of dogma or the duster untamed!
Convert none, help all, without imposition.
Let uplift be the motive behind all conviction.

Combine without Condescension (The Sonnet) | Bulldozer on Duty

When all combine without condescension,
We shall witness God’s face.
Then we shall realize beyond all doubt,
God has never been a person but a state.
A state of mind where division disappears,
That is what godliness means.
A state of sight where separation withers,
That is what holiness means.
This state is beyond beliefs and doctrines,
It is the sacred valley of life beyond life.
There is no life so long as we are divided,
Life united is life brought to life.
There is no God, only heart nonsectarian.
In that heart, You, I, the Father, the Son, all are one.

No Such Thing as Objective Truth | Sin Dios Sí Hay Divinidad

There is no such thing as an objective truth, it’s all subjective. Unless the brain finds a way to observe the universe, independent of the brain, every truth is subjective truth.

To hell with truth, I say! Better lose truth, than lose your humanity. Better lose truth, than lose love. Love first, truth second. Humanity first, intelligence second!

My theology is not rooted in God, but in people. My philosophy is not rooted in knowledge, but in people. My science is not rooted in reason, but in people. Mi iglesia son humanos, mi cielo son humanos, mi fe son humanos.

Divinity and worship are two different things. Worship is an act of self-preservation, divinity is an act of self-annihilation – divinity is annihilation of the self for the uplift of others. Let the people find a shelter in you, and you shall attain an eternal shelter in them. Un corazón amable es un corazón religioso.

Where there is indoctrination, there is control. Where there is control, there is no love. And where there is no love, there is no religion. Scripture is literature, period – nothing more, nothing less. If you cannot speak of religion, without quoting your scripture, you don’t understand religion.

In the fight between love and god, love always wins. And whenever love wins, god wins. Why? Because god is love, god is oneness. And love is but oneness in practice. Love is not something that merely enhances existence – love is existence.

Scripture is Literature, Period | Sin Dios Sí Hay Divinidad

Scripture is literature, period – nothing more, nothing less. Where there is indoctrination, there is control. Where there is control, there is no love. And where there is no love, there is no religion.

Take the beliefs of any fundamentalist, and replace all mentions of their particular religion with any other religion, and you won’t be able to tell the difference. Why? Because fundamentalism changes only label from one religion to another, but the underlying prejudice, biases and bigotry remain the same. Because underneath every fundamentalism, there is the same old primitive, animal mind trying its darndest to defend the integrity of its personal mental universe.

Fundamentalism is not a neurodivergence, fundamentalism is a lethal neuropsychiatric condition, which requires immediate medical attention.

Letter from God (An Autobiographical Sonnet)| Abhijit Naskar | Dervis Vadisi: 100 Promissory Sonnets

Some people chant Bismillah,
Some people chant Bhagvan.
Some people call me Lord God,
I’m actually very much human.

Seek me in church and temple,
I shall elude you for time eternal.
All churches are without God,
But God cannot be without human.

Above all hagiographies, human is real,
There’s nothing more divine than human.
Godliness unfolds only through humanness,
Only sin in the world is the sin of division.

Secularism is not a rejection of religion,
secularism is inoculation against fundamentalism.
Religion is not the search for a mythical deity,
but the realization of oneness within every human.

Dharmageddon (Untouchable Sonnet) | Abhijit Naskar | Azad Earth Army: When The World Cries Blood

Bunch of dried up prunes bathing in sewage water
to gain instant holiness are no good to me.
I want the brave and vigorous of heart and brain,
those teeming with life, I want the uncowardly.

I want the uncompromising, I want the unbending,
I want the pure, who’ve conquered their prejudice.
Only the undoctrinated can carry the godly thunder,
only the living can bear remedy to customs of malice.

If you’re failure as a christian according to the
church, you’re likely a true christian like Christ.
I work the world flooded with living Christs and
Buddhas, not dummkopfs obeying the dead and blind.

Enough with brainless bowing to holy heap of compost,
partake no more of the flea-ridden potion of fanaticism.
Abolish all relation with dogma and ritual superstition,
sterilized in the pyre of prejudice, Arise Dharmageddon!

Fountainhead (Divine Sonnet) – Abhijit Naskar, The God Sonnets

I am love, I am tolerance,
I’m the opposite of imposition.
I am equality, I am integration,
I’m the opposite of compulsion.

My mother is Amina,
so is Yashoda, and Mary.
Every mother is divine mother –
there is no first or last, for
every child is messenger to humanity.

Fight not each other over my existence,
fight instead against inhuman advances.
Fight not over petty scriptures riddled
with simian folly, call forth the divine
within – be forthright in treating prejudice.

I am love, I am tolerance, I am what
bigoted monkeys mock as woke and DEI.
No matter what dogmatic primates believe,
prisons of doctrines are not my paradise.

The Tolerance Hymn (Iftar-e Insaniyat) – Abhijit Naskar

No borrowed make-believe,
no quicksand of cowardice –
superstition fading from bones,
as we rise above the prejudice.

No faith is faith supreme,
feeding on tears of persecution –
no culture wears the high crown,
each corazon chariots illumination.

Every faith, culture and tradition, has
created minds of most exalted character –
no geography holds exclusive franchise
over greatness, to be infallibly superior.

Belong to the moment, belong to each other,
past the lingering lure of a toxic heaven.
Wake up to Iftar-e Insaniyat – the First Supper,
love be our cosmic chord, tolerance, our hymn.
