This is Not Us (The Sonnet)

This is not us,
Practicing savages abhorrent.
This is not sapiens,
Intelligent yet filthy indifferent.
Some think we are advanced,
But self-absorption is no advancement.
Some say we have built a free world,
But irresponsible freedom is mere derangement.
Fancy clothes and accessories make no human,
Nor do those shallow etiquettes.
When we have no kindness for others,
We are just good-looking cannibals.
This cannot be the definition of humanity.
Need of the hour is a life of inclusivity.

Either Aşkistan or Junglistan (A Sonnet)

Ours is either aşkistan,
Land of love founded on amity,
Or it is an archaic junglistan,
Run by contagious self-centricity.
What is civilized is also unselfish,
For selfishness makes the animal,
Across the self there is humanity,
What is unselfish is also accountable.
Technology may bring comfort,
But it doesn't ensure ascension,
When comfort belongs to the privileged,
Such progress is mere descension.
Over 3 billion years have gone in selfishness,
It's time to unself our soul and rise as sapiens.

Sonnet of Nation Building

Nation means not land,
Nation means not border.
Nation means sentience and sanity,
Nation means willing to treat disorder.
Nation means not habit,
Nation means not tradition.
Nation means reason and acceptance,
Nation means conscious amalgamation.
Nations means not law,
Nations means not policy.
Nation means a genuine goodness,
Nation means an accountable citizenry.
In the name of nation do not act tribal.
Nation without narrowness is a land universal.

Just A Human Sonnet

Emotion first,
Attire later.
Simplicity first,
Sovereignty later.
Friendship first,
Faith later.
Goodness first,
God later.
Morality first,
Nationality later.
Peace first,
Patriotism later.
Let nothing be a hindrance to humanity,
Fulfilment of life lies in universality.

Giants in Jeans Sonnet 76

In the old days tribal chiefs used to fool people,
With talks of tribal honor and heritage.
Today's chiefs in suits manipulate modern tribals,
With talks of national security and lineage.
When our ancestors behaved as tribals,
It is acceptable for they didn't know better.
But when we identify as civilized yet act tribal,
It is but a degrading stain upon our honor.
Though all politicians are not savages,
Paradigm of modern politics thrives on division.
So make not the dreadful mistake to think,
That politicians are gonna bring peace and elevation.
It is a world of citizens, citizens are its lifeblood.
You and I are its caretakers, not some elected vanguard.

Sonnet of Holy Water | Handcrafted Humanity

A new day starts with a new you,
And I ain't talkin' about born again nonsense.
A bigot baptized a thousand times is still a bigot,
A human helping another is Christ himself.
There is no second coming, there’s no reincarnation,
Except when we go from selfishness to kindness.
We are the messiahs and saviors of our people,
Nobody's gonna fall from the sky to lift the helpless.
The liquor store sells you the same divinity,
That the holy store sells you for even higher price.
We'll be born again when we abolish such divinity,
By baptizing the soil of society with our sacrifice.
The tears of joy someone sheds because of you,
Are the only holy water to build the world anew.

Human and Love (The Sonnet) | Mücadele Muhabbet

The day human and love are the same thing,
The day human and harmony are the same thing,
The day human and inclusion are the same thing,
The day human and acceptance are the same thing,
The day human and reason are the same thing,
The day human and emotion are the same thing,
The day human and duty are the same thing,
The day human and dignity are the same thing,
The day human and persistence are the same thing,
The day human and perseverance are the same thing,
The day human and resilience are the same thing,
The day human and character are the same thing,
The day self and society are the same thing,
That day each of us will be a human being.

Pay it Forward Sonnet | Mücadele Muhabbet

Say no thanks, instead help another,
And tell them to pay it forward.
The one tradition this world badly needs,
Is that of kindness beyond all reward.
The world lacks kindness and compassion,
For so far rituals are passed on as tradition.
One generation of savage and divided tribals,
Makes sure to propagate nothing but division.
This very prehistoric tendency must end,
We must humanize the very notion of tradition.
Let us place all glory on the colors of joy,
Let us prioritize kindness over all argumentation.
And remember not to mechanize this with ideology.
Helping those in need is just plain ordinary humanity.

Law of Sacrifice (The Sonnet) | Şehit Sevda Society

The more you give life,
The more you'll have life.
The more you give light,
The more you'll have light.
The more the I gets lost in others,
The more you'll end all bigoted strife.
The more you take pain for those around,
The more you'll know the joy of life.
Worst of all superstitions is selfishness,
It keeps an animal from becoming human.
Let the mind be cleansed of all self,
So our heart becomes a mirror for every person.
Reject all selfishness that makes you cold and blind.
Sacrifice is the law behind all love and light.
