Brave, The Sonnet

Say o brave, o soldier of eternal heights,
May I be decapitated before my head bows.
Say o brave, o explorer of impossibility,
May I feed another while my stomach growls.
Say o brave, o pedestrian of purity,
I obey no law for I'm the epitome of rightness.
Say o brave, o athlete of amor and amity,
I am sheer insanity exuding real saneness.
Say o brave, o bearer of benevolence,
I am disaster, blaster and master of destiny.
Say o brave, o vessel of valiance,
I devour fear, greed, pride and insecurity.
Say o brave, I am the seed of all assimilation,
The first one standing, earthquakin' egalitarian.

Will You Be My Poetry (The Sonnet)

You keep calling me a poet,
I embrace the sentiment but not the title.
I may have some power over words,
But the words themselves are nothing valuable.
It's the world behind the words that matters,
A world where all walls collapse and wither.
Once you wake up to that world,
Save human, all other titles disappear.
In that world of oneness you shall discover,
My words are not the real poetry.
My true poetry is your own humanness,
I am but a reflection of your struggling humanity.
So let's get rid of this poet and reader business!
You be my poetry, I'll be your pages.

Giants in Jeans Sonnet 76

In the old days tribal chiefs used to fool people,
With talks of tribal honor and heritage.
Today's chiefs in suits manipulate modern tribals,
With talks of national security and lineage.
When our ancestors behaved as tribals,
It is acceptable for they didn't know better.
But when we identify as civilized yet act tribal,
It is but a degrading stain upon our honor.
Though all politicians are not savages,
Paradigm of modern politics thrives on division.
So make not the dreadful mistake to think,
That politicians are gonna bring peace and elevation.
It is a world of citizens, citizens are its lifeblood.
You and I are its caretakers, not some elected vanguard.

Rightful King (The Sonnet) | Making Britain Civilized

The rightful king is one who dissolves the kingdom.
The rightful politician is one who dissolves the party.
The rightful ruler is one who wants only to serve.
The rightful citizen is always steadfast in accountability.
Long live the Queen and Heil Hitler are one and the same,
For both are sign of absolute allegiance without question.
Allegiance to king and country keeps a land uncivilized,
Allegiance to ideology and tradition destroys all ascension.
Let there be no king and queen, let there be no kingdom,
Let there be no party and let there be no authoritarianism.
The force that builds a world doesn’t come from bloodline,
For character is beyond the grasp of our puny sectarianism.
In a civilized society we are all king, we are all policymaker.
The world advances when we advance as its fervent keeper.

Honor He Wrote Sonnet 100

All meditate on symbols,
I meditate on people.
Most worship fictitious deities,
I worship those branded unliftable.
People are my almighty,
Oneness is my religion,
Division is degradation,
Unification is illumination.
All is possible for a human who’s responsible,
Only the indifferent make excuses.
Possibility is born of responsibility,
Not of whining, praying and limbless wishes.
Real and unreal, put all these talk aside.
Let us be civilization, let us be lifelight.

The Caretaker, Sonnet | Abhijit Naskar | Dunya Benim, Sorumluluk Benim: Little Planet on The Prairie

What was good enough for the
fiction fearing men of the past,
is no yardstick for the civilized us.
Just like what we carve out for ourselves,
may not be sufficient for future generations.

Every generation must carve their own destiny,
taking lessons from the past, not edicts.
No generation is authority of the other,
each generation must write their
own rights, lingo and ethics.

Every generation needs caretakers,
and the caretaker of your generation is you.
There is no such thing as a golden age,
age gets golden or gutted by the likes of you.

What was good enough for the apes,
is no yardstick for the sapiens.
My world, my responsibility –
voices the Caretaker thundersaint!
