What is Science

People often assume that science is only about empirical research - that it's merely about facts and figures, which happens to be nowhere near the truth. Facts are the fundamental building blocks of science, but bringing those facts together to have an insight of a certain phenomenon requires a rational, conscientious and creative mind. It's only through rigorous analysis and observation, as well as, creative contemplation, of the empirical evidence, i.e. facts, discovered through decades of research, that we can understand a certain phenomenon. Science cannot exist without empirical evidence, but evidence alone can't take science ahead and upwards, for that, we need some rather naïve and conscientious minds who can pierce through the evidence in order to have a practical insight of the big picture of a certain phenomenon. In short, there's more to science than facts and figures. Think of facts and figures as bricks and cement, and science or scientific understanding as a building. Without the vision of the architect, it's impossible to construct the building no matter how much bricks and cement you have.

Combustion (Sonnet 1035) | Her Insan Ailem

You only see the light of the sun,
But not the combustion agony.
You only see the act of creation,
But not the pain of creativity.
You only see the light of genius,
But not the price of genius.
You only see the flight of triumph,
But not the tragedies one has to cross.
You are replenished by the monsoon rain,
You got no clue ‘bout the burden of the cloud.
You only see the glamor of my victory,
Not the heartbreaks I don’t scream out loud.
Everybody wants to shine, that is no glory.
Only those with character can bear combustion agony.

AI Deception (The Sonnet) | Abhijit Naskar | Insan Himalayanoğlu

Anybody can be a singer using Autotune,
Using ChatGPT anybody can be a writer.
But I’m yet to find an AI that can compose,
Love thy neighbor, or love has no gender.

Yet the problem is, neither human
nor AI can detect AI generation.
The world is already being flooded
with soulless, deceitful creation.

In the midst of such grave misgivings,
Honor alone can bring illumination.
Before you place anyone on pedestal,
Observe character beyond the creation.

Even I use photoshop, to enhance my covers,
But the words beneath are unvarnished Naskar.
AI can be a great help if you know how to
use it honorably, so originality is empowered.

I am not creative, I’m just alive (Sonnet 1433) | Abhijit Naskar | Dervis Vadisi: 100 Promissory Sonnets

No such thing as an uncreative heart,
If you are alive, you are creative.
Unless cluttered by status quo,
Every heart is by nature creative.

Heart alive is heart creative,
Creativity is a sign of life.
Uncreativity is pulselessness,
Symptom of a heart anemic of life.

I am not creative, I’m just alive,
Creativity is just a byproduct.
If you don’t impose limits of norm,
Every blood vessel is creation-duct.

Chatgpt is Cheatgpt (The Sonnet) | Abhijit Naskar | World War Human: 100 New Earthling Sonnets

Download autotune and
everybody is a singer,
download midjourney and
everybody is a painter,

download chatgpt and
everybody is a writer.
This is not innovation, it is fraud,
and those who practice it, are
the lowest form of animals on earth.

Either do something original,
or expand on another’s originality,
with honor and integrity, but never
confuse plagiarism with creativity.

Chatgpt is cheatgpt,
Better do manual labor than lie.
Even onlyfans is more honorable
than content made by Generative AI.

Labor of AI (The Sonnet) | Abhijit Naskar | The Divine Refugee

Asking AI to help you
write, is not writing.
Asking AI to tune your
voice, is not singing.

Asking AI to help you
paint, is not painting.
Asking AI to help you
code, is not coding.

Asking AI to help you
create, is not creativity.
Asking AI to build your
dream, is not dreaming.

Asking AI to narrate
books, is not storytelling.
AI oughta do manual labor,
so humans can do the creating.

“I ain’t a mystic, just nature at its peak.” Abhijit Naskar, The Humanitarian Dictator

Over the past few years one change has taken over my writing. It’s that I no longer write from thought. Almost everything I write today is the result of subconscious grinding. In fact, these days I make it a point to not write from thought, particularly because things written from thought never quite embody the magic of my naturally flowing spring of words. Initially my writings contained occasional natural gems, bridged by materials from thought, particularly my early works of prose. But nowadays, it’s like some invisible force does the actual writing – the complete writing, I only take dictations. Perhaps I’ve gotten lazy, or perhaps the outside has gotten lazy, for the inside has come alive. The thinker has given in, for the seer has come alive. This ain’t mysticism, just the genius of nature. I ain’t a mystic, just nature at its peak.

Age of AI (The Sonnet) | Abhijit Naskar | The Humanitarian Dictator

Welcome to the age of AI, where algorithms
grow bigger, and minds get smaller,
where freedom is the new prison,
character retreats as cave dweller.

Welcome to the age of AI,
where deceit is the new creativity,
where hate is a human right,
malinformation is a legal industry.

Welcome to the age of AI,
where algorithms are still nonsentient,
but so are the people that use them,
mindlessness is trend of the new sapiens.

Welcome to the age of AI, where global goals
are still a dream, only more distant.
Prove me wrong – I beg of you –
Stand up and behave, a proper Sapiens!

“Either you are an artist or you use AI, you cannot do both.” Abhijit Naskar, Kral Fakir: When Calls The Kainat

I have zero tolerance for the use of AI in any aspect of human creative endeavor. We can make a separate space for AI art, but AI trash passed as human art, is an abomination of creativity – for our imperfections bear the keynote of truth. Art is a testament to human struggle – remove the human, and it’s art no more. Either you are an artist or you use AI, you cannot do both.

Anatomy of Typos (Sonnet) – Abhijit Naskar, The God Sonnets

It took me a 100 books to realize this,
typos are not a stain upon literature,
typos are ornament of literature,
sweet reminders of human endeavor.

It’s great to have literature without typos,
like it’s great to have a life without regrets.
But in actuality, only the dead have no regrets,
only the uncreative make no typographical mistakes.

There are typos that are grievous, hence,
need correcting, but most typos are harmless.
Repulsed by typos means repulsed by literature,
repulsed by regrets means repulsed by existence.

Typos are the ornament of literature,
regrets are the ornament of life.
To make peace with regrets is the beginning of life,
to make peace with typos is to empower literary light.
