Segregation in the name of heritage and purity | Abhijit Naskar | World War Human: 100 New Earthling Sonnets (Now Out)
Black, white, brown or martian – at the end of the day, you’ll find good and evil in every corner of the world. You’ll find apes peddling segregation in the name of preserving heritage and purity, in every corner of the world, just like you’ll find humans standing up for love and oneness, in every corner of the world. It has nothing to do with ethnicity of a person, and everything to do with humanity of the person.

Peace is a crime against state (The Sonnet) | Abhijit Naskar | World War Human: 100 New Earthling Sonnets
There’s no difference between
a soldier and a contract killer.
Hitmen are paid to kill individuals,
Soldiers are paid to kill in bulk.
Righteous soldiers don’t exist,
they only exist in fairytale movies.
No academy trains youngsters for peace,
they manufacture state-abiding terrorists.
If any soldier ever wakes up to peace,
they’re instantly discharged without honor.
Thinking soldiers are no use to state,
States only want brainless suicide bombers.
Enemy of war is enemy of the state,
Making of peace is crime against state.
a soldier and a contract killer.
Hitmen are paid to kill individuals,
Soldiers are paid to kill in bulk.
Righteous soldiers don’t exist,
they only exist in fairytale movies.
No academy trains youngsters for peace,

Armistice Sonnet | Abhijit Naskar | World War Human: 100 New Earthling Sonnets
Ceasefire is a diplomatic gimmick,
They cease only to hit back harder.
Demilitarization is what we need,
We got no use for one more ceasefire.
Ceasefire only postpones war,
disarmament instills peace.
Armistice empowers armament,
demilitarization plants peace.
Tyrants don’t call truce to allow aid,
but only to rearm themselves,
so they can call in more ammunition,
from their apely imperialist friends.
One more ceasefire we could do without,
World is wailing for the final ceasefire.
Disown every statesman who prides military,
Builders of military are merchants of murder.
They cease only to hit back harder.
Demilitarization is what we need,
We got no use for one more ceasefire.
Ceasefire only postpones war,

The Christ I Bear (Sonnet 1570) | Abhijit Naskar | World War Human: 100 New Earthling Sonnets
The Christ I know was a colored arab,
who took a stand against intolerance.
The Christ I know is the antithesis
of christian nationalism.
Naturally he became object of hate crime,
he was the classic case of persecution.
Thus the mortal man died for nobody’s sin,
but due to his own activist intention.
The Christ I know was a friend to love,
The Christ I know abhorred cruelty.
Yet you’ve made him a badge of horror,
justifying your most heinous atrocity.
The Christ I bear is a spirit of love,
no puny institution can contain him.
I am Christ, you are Christ,
when there is love, whole world is him.
who took a stand against intolerance.

The Islam I Live (Sufi Sonnet 1640) | Abhijit Naskar | The Divine Refugee (First Drop)
The Islam I live speaks of love,
The Islam I live is gentle as dove.
The Islam I live claims no convert,
The Islam I live warms all in hug.
The Islam I live transcends doctrine,
The Islam I live transcends the mosque.
The Islam I live holds no faith foreign,
The Islam I live finds good in every walk.
The Islam I live is a walking azaan,
living call to tolerance and acceptance.
Muslim poet am I, from the valley of love,
The Islam I live is the end of violence.
The Islam I live is an act of peace,
a promise of love, in a world of malice.
The Islam I live is gentle as dove.
The Islam I live claims no convert,

Diagnosis: Patriotism (The Sonnet) | Abhijit Naskar | World War Human: 100 New Earthling Sonnets
You know what distinguishes
a reformist from a terrorist!
The capacity to destroy the world,
yet choosing not to.
The capacity to press the button,
yet choosing not to.
The capacity to pull the trigger,
yet choosing not to.
The capacity to oblige the state,
but choosing humanity instead.
The capacity to be patriotic,
yet choosing to be human instead.
War is the symptom,
patriotism is the disease.
Terrorists harbor patriotism,
Reformists harbor peace.

Better a refugee than prisoner (Sonnet 1555) | Abhijit Naskar | World War Human: 100 New Earthling Sonnets
Eon upon eon I seek for a refuge,
Land upon land I receive but coldness.
Last I stand at your door exhausted,
Spare some warmth, for my heart freezes!
Stateless, cultless, I walk the planet.
Restless, sleepless, I live a dream.
Friendless, loveless, I brave the mission.
The being is dissolved for the beacon to beam.
Wield, I do, my conscience as compass.
Wear, I do, my backbone as battery.
Bouts of tragedy only amplifies my thunder,
Nature’s bare mockery makes miracle of me.
Borders are for hoarders, my home is the world.
Better a refugee to the sea than prisoner of the pond.
Land upon land I receive but coldness.
Last I stand at your door exhausted,
Spare some warmth, for my heart freezes!
Stateless, cultless, I walk the planet.
Restless, sleepless, I live a dream.

Apes cannot cancel the Everest (Sonnet 1550) | Abhijit Naskar | World War Human: 100 New Earthling Sonnets
Unleash yourself as love testament,
Be the answer to archaic derangement.
Stand undaunted despite cancelment,
Apes cannot cancel Mount Everest.
Unleash your spine,
Unfurl your fervor.
Awake to humankind,
your eternal harbor.
Anchor yourself in rights,
Rituals can take a back seat.
Rights decreed by jungle rituals,
are no parameters of civil spirit.
Either you succumb to the world,
or expand so vast that
the world succumbs to you.
Dare past time with your dream defiant,
fabric of reality will unfold through you.

Decolonized History Lesson (Sonnet 1546) | Abhijit Naskar | World War Human: 100 New Earthling Sonnets
Early Arabs and Indians
invented astronomy and algebra,
Early white people invented
genocide and massacre.
Indigenous Latinos invented chocolate,
Early Chinese invented printing.
Early Caucasians invented cockiness,
calling invasion as civilization-bringing.
Modern Arabs build cities in the desert,
Modern whites still burn down cities.
Modern Indians democratize space exploration,
Modern whites still manufacture disparities.
Modern whites coddle hate and prejudice,
and use free speech as justification.
If any humane white ever questions hate,
they’re branded, woke traitor to the nation.
Till this day, white people manufacture
99% of the world’s human rights violations.
If you right the wrong, it’s cussed as wokeness,
To support white terrorism is patriotism.
