Nordic Diet Free-Range Livestock & Environmental Sustainability for Better Health
Nordic Diet Free-Range Livestock & Environmental Sustainability for Better Health
The Nordic Diet is revolutionizing culinary preparation of food and improving the quality of food for human consumption and health.
The three guidelines to the New Nordic Diet are:
1) More calories from plant foods and fewer from meat
2) More foods from the sea and lakes
3) More foods from the wild countryside.
As it pertains to meat (which I typically eat about once a week), we should strive to consume meat that is free-range and grass fed.
Studies show animals that graze and eat grass have less saturated fat and a healthier fatty acid composition than animals reared in cramped quarters and reared indoors away from sunlight and natural terrains where they can eat grass.
The intestines of livestock do not do well on corn fed diets (typical of U.S. modern industrialized agriculture) causing them to have more bacteria, fatty livers and illness. These diseased animals living in cramped quarters in their own feces often pass on the same diseases to unconscious consumers lacking discernment.
Thus it is in consumers best interest as a matter of personal health to prefer free-range grass fed livestock. Secondly preferring grass fed livestock is better for the environment as a matter of sustainability.
Grass fed beef and lamb also tastes better. I typically find such more readily available in New Zealand (or being imported from NZ), but American farmers are slowly beginning to catch on and respond to consumers desiring grass fed beef and lamb.
Thus the Nordic Manifesto is slowly influencing cuisine and livestock farming methods across the United States and elsewhere throughout the world.
Nordic culinary methods seek to unite palatability with modern knowledge about health and what is ultimately best for physical well being.
When American Chef Anthony Bourdain visited Copenhagen, he discovered why Noma (voted the top restaurant in the world by chefs for 3 years in a row) is so delicious; they adhere to the Nordic diet, practice environmental sustainability and make health a priority.
http://www.cnn.com/video/shows/anthon...
I hope Anthony and other American chefs will learn from the Nordic diet and help improve food and public health in the United States.
As the author of "The Future of Food" (volumes 1 & 2) I believe together we can make a difference and educate Americans and the world about what quality food truly is and how much better it can be.

Personal Privacy, Online Anonymity, Data Collection, Information Sharing and Improving Society
Personal Privacy, Online Anonymity, Data Collection, Information Sharing and Improving Society
Decreasing anonymity online and the increase of data collection and information sharing improves 21st-century life. Decreased anonymity makes people more responsible and accountable for their actions online, lessening the likelihood for crimes such as fraud, identity theft, and sexual offenses by pedophiles.
Although some will say data collection and sharing by corporations decreases our quality of life, such can be prevented by citizen activism and legislation that enables people to opt out (as with telemarketing call lists). Personal privacy has been "at the heart of democracy from its inception" (Obama 3). The Consumer Privacy Bill of Rights provides "consumers clear guidance on what they should expect from those who handle their personal information, and sets expectations for companies that use personal data," while enabling "consumer protection enforcement agencies" to implement enforceable codes of conduct (3).
Increased data collection helps law enforcement arrest criminals. The U.S. Post Office logs all mail for law enforcement (Youngman Lecture 8B, p.4). This year in Florida when a teenager made a prank post on Facebook threatening to kill the President, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) promptly arrested the young man. Previous school shooters often made their intentions public online via social media before they ever committed acts of murder. Monitoring social media and online communications by law enforcement therefore can prevent such catastrophes and save lives.
Online dating sites where pseudonyms are often used to protect identities (Acquisti 17), facial recognition software can reveal when a married person using the dating site is lying about being single. Decreasing anonymity therefore will help save marriages, keep families in tact, prevent singles from being lied to by cheaters, and alert ladies to sex offenders trying to communicate with them.
Facebook has provided a means to reconnect disconnected Americans and increase social capital, which Harvard's Robert Putnam argued was plummeting (Youngman, Lecture 8A, p.5). Tom Standage, author of The Victorian Internet, says online interaction affords us participation as if we were sitting together sharing stories, jokes and gossip (Youngman 8A, p.8).
Decreased anonymity will ensure people remain more congruent and accountable for what they click, like, share and write online. Small business owners will no longer be able to anonymously post negative online comments about their competitor's products and services.
Today increased data collection and decreased anonymity improves human behavior publicly and privately, as our online persona and reputation can quickly be altered when an image of who we truly are is released on social media.

Hotel Marketing, Destination Marketing Content Writer
Hotel and Destination Marketing's lazy and costly approach of the past bent on buying Google ads is now being replaced by a preference for quality content writing and a new hiring frenzy for content writers.
The Internet is the means of locating hotels and destinations. Failing to devise a solid hotel marketing and destination marketing online strategy will cause you to be invisible to online consumers.
Generating optimal traffic online from search engines requires your hotel marketing and destination marketing be done organically and be consumer friendly. Focusing on Google algorithms, analytics and wasting millions of dollars on Google ads is no longer necessary. Just create quality content!
Online content (pictures, videos, articles, blog posts) governs the marketplace of ideas without which no company can effectively market itself, nor reach consumers in the digital age.
Google's Author Rank, Personalization features, and increasing Knowledge Graph add exciting new elements to consider when engaging in hotel marketing and destination marketing.
Therefore quality content originating from trusted sources is more valuable today than the old school approach of companies buying Google ads.
The focus has shifted for hotel marketing and destination marketing dollars. Today content writers and content writing is the emphasis.
Slick talking sales staff and companies buying Google ads are less skilled at content writing and therefore are shifting the emphasis, firing SEO and analytic techs and hiring content writers to reposition their company online to be relevant.
Personalized content writing, hotel marketing, and destination marketing that appeals to consumers with quality content is gaining authority and prominence with Google.
Authorship and quality content is revolutionizing Google and the way hotel marketing and destination marketing is being pursued.
Hotels and tourism bureaus are now spending a lot of time and money trying to figure out who the experts and authors are writing about their hotel, niche, market and destination.
As a world traveler who has touched over 70 countries and authored more than 20 published books including "The Future of Food" (volumes 1 & 2) this new trend makes me extremely happy!
Hotels, resorts, tourism bureaus, restaurants and theme parks enjoy working with me because I am not just the typical creative content writer, I'm also fun-loving, world traveling motivational speaker, published author and creative content producer able to work with words, images and video to create captivating content from many angles that engage consumers and compel them to action.

Facebook vs Google+ Can Google Plus Push Facebook Out of the Way?
Facebook vs Google+ Can Google Plus Push Facebook Out of the Way?
Would I ever consider to stop using Facebook and switching to Google+ someone recently asked?
Maybe if Facebook got to the place of thoroughly annoying and using and abusing me. I learned yesterday Facebook will now allow violent videos to be shown and advertised on their site. Yet a couple years ago Facebook removed my consumer fraud videos exposing a Florida bank ripping off consumers. Facebook is beholden to its corporate ad buyers and though the appearance of Facebook serving the people is the public image, the reality behind the scenes is Facebook is monetarily motivated and cares little about people.
For the mean time I use Facebook as well and try to avoid allowing Facebook to use me. I just login to my account directly http://www.Facebook.com/speakers4insp... to try to avoid having to look at all their adverts and annoying features.

Personal Privacy Online Takes the Backseat to Corporate Profits in America
Personal Privacy Online Takes the Backseat to Corporate Profits in America
Northwestern University's course on Google and the Media recently noted practicality in the U.S tends to sweep away nebulous concerns such as personal privacy.
I translate that to mean profitability in corporation nation trumps personal privacy concerns.
It kind of reminded me of studying Constitutional Law and revisiting U.S. history when the founders stole the Native American Indians' land and then wrote laws to ensure they could "legally" do so in the name of furthering the land's "highest and best use" - for monetization and profiteering of course.
Thus the blatant disregard for personal privacy in the digital age of the Internet does not surprise me. The new land is not beneath us but rather in cyberspace and like the real estate of old, it goes to the highest bidder, human rights taking the backseat.

Women Rights, Gender Equality, Empowering Women - MDGs for Public Health and Civil Society
Women Rights, Gender Equality, Empowering Women - MDGs for Public Health and Civil Society
Goal
Among the eight United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) for 2015, third on the list is my goal of promoting gender equality and empowering women.
Relevance of goal
Women use more of their disposable income on their children, families and households than men. Therefore by providing girls and women equal access to education, employment opportunities and fair compensation for work done, not only will the status of women improve but so too will their children and families.
Mothers play a huge role in preventing the spread of pathogens in water and food to combat diseases (the 6th MDG for 2015). Equal pay, rights, access and treatment of women in society will result in improved maternal health and a reduction in child mortality (the 5th and 4th MDG for 2015).
Reflections on the Political Realism
Presently however "gender-based inequalities in decision-making power persist" throughout the public and private spheres, extending to "the highest levels of government decision-making to households," where "women continue to be denied equal opportunity with men to participate in decisions that affect their lives" (MDG Report p.5).
"Many of the countries that threaten regional and global peace are the very places where women and girls are deprived of dignity and opportunity” – while enduring the destruction of schools, child marriage, refugee conflicts, and rape (Clinton).
"Women drive peace and progress. ...In Liberia, women marched and protested until the country’s warlords agreed to end their civil war …and twice elected Ellen Johnson Sirleaf as the first woman president in Africa" (Clinton).
Sub-goals and action steps
1. "Stronger political backing for women and children" is needed to accelerate interventions (MDG Report p.5). "Our attention needs to focus on disparities, which often stand in the way of further improvements" (Ibid).
2. Developing countries desirous of becoming stable economies must empower women and provide equal access to education.
"More than 5 million children do not attend school" in Pakistan "and two-thirds of them are girls" thanks to the Taliban insurgency (Clinton).
3. Grassroots community activism must arise to protest, demand change and confront their oppressors.
The repression of women in unstable states such as Pakistan exacerbates problems of violence, sectarian conflict, governmental corruption, weak democratic institutions, energy shortages, and poverty (Clinton).
4. Use communication technology and social media to name and shame oppressive governments and violators of girls and women’s rights.
"Technology, from satellite television to cell phones from Twitter to Tumblr, is helping bring abuses out of the shadows and into the center of global consciousness" (Clinton).
No longer can citizens in society be silent and quiet their consciences when a woman is beaten or a girl “sold into marriage to settle a family debt" (Ibid).
With mobile phones equipped with video technology in the hands of so many across the world, people in every society have access to technology and wherewithal to keep those in power honest and bring oppressors to justice.
5. Girls and women must speak up for their rights and boys and men must do likewise, encouraging and defending women.
14 year old Malala Yousafzai was shot in Pakistan and nearly killed by the Taliban for advocating education for girls, but she refused to be silent and live in fear.
Boys and men therefore have a duty to pave a path for reformation and encourage the progression of women’s rights.
Otherwise as Malala wisely warns us: “If this new generation is not given pens, they will be given guns.”
Educating girls and providing equal rights for women therefore is a crucial step to societal and national transformation en route to improving public health and fulfilling the MDGs.

African Migration and Health in Scandinavia
How are migrants from Africa doing as far as health is concerned given the difference of climate in Scandinavia?
I know being from Florida I myself prefer warmer climates and feel a bit out of sync and sorts for a time whenever I relocate to colder climates.
How do the Africans typically do when having migrated to Scandinavia?
Is there any truth to the assertion that people in warm climates tend to be more friendly and socially outgoing than people living in colder climates? Do Africans who migrate to Scandinavia become more reserved and conservative after relocating?
Does anyone have any personal perspective, insight or stories to share?

Substance Abuse Prevention Speaker - Emotional Appeal to Addicts
Substance Abuse Prevention Speaker - Emotional Appeal to Addicts
I did a video sharing my personal story of how my mother was a drug addict and alcoholic putting my grandparents through hell, before being killed by an 18 year-old drunk driver (my mother 49 y-o at the time).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eApGNE...
I later shortened the 9:48 minute video to 3:24 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNfu-S... but it is equally hard-hitting and impacting.
How dramatic it is watching your mother as a child being taken from home at night on a paramedic stretcher can be ....wondering if she will live or die?
As a young adult I worked at the emergency room (ER) where over the weekends while working the late night shift teenagers would come in after drinking and driving, some having flown through the windshield of the car they were driving (when not wearing safety belts).
Seeing their parents crying their eyes out and wondering how their beloved child could die so suddenly was also very dramatic.
A bit of positive peer pressure therefore from the heart of someone who has experienced the pain of substance abuse in my opinion is persuasive.
Truth be told, when people abuse alcohol and substances, they usually do so for emotional reasons. I thus passionately speak to the heart as a substance abuse prevention speaker sharing my personal story and emotional appeal to addicts to bring about a soberness of heart and mind en route to transformation.
Please support Dream-Maker Ministries, our 501 C 3 IRS approved Nonprofit Organization to help spread the message of substance abuse prevention, drunk driving prevention and help set addicts free to live a meaningful life.

Interim Pastor, Senior Pastor, Teaching Pastor, Lead Pastor - Need a Pastor
Interim Pastor, Senior Pastor, Teaching Pastor, Lead Pastor - Need a Pastor
Teaching Pastor Bible Foundations Revelation Supernatural Power (video)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ue2hAY...
Recently I completed an application and answered a series of questions for churches seeking to hire a Senior Pastor, Teaching Pastor, and/or Lead Pastor. Therefore if your church, or a church you know does need a Pastor, feel free to forward this to them for consideration, prayer and reflection.
Likewise if your church is in need of reformation, heavenly vision, revival, renewal, a great awakening and a spiritual revolution you have found your man to spark a revival and move them Godward to mature in Christ and fulfill the Great Commission.
My divine mandate is to encourage people to find wholeness in Jesus Christ appeals to me. People are looking for encouragement, restoration and life principles to be made whole. Wholeness is in Christ Jesus body, mind and spirit (1Thessalonians 5:23, Colossians 2:10; 2Corinthians 5:17; Romans 6:4).
As a worldwide minister, life coach / counselor, and fitness trainer I have a unique ability to touch and transform people at three levels (spiritual, mental and physical).
Knowing, glorifying and sharing the love and life of God is my heartbeat and personal mission. I am committed to New Testament theology embracing multiculturalism, pursuing reconciliation, being multi-generational and culturally relevant locally and globally - essentially what the New Testament Church should be (Acts 13:1-4; Acts 6:1-7; Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15).
I understand the complexities and nuances of spiritual, social and economic development in a diverse urban context. Having lived in Queens (New York City), the most diverse county in the country, I am intimately acquainted with diversity. Moreover I have earned a Master degree in Global Affairs from New York University and ministered around the world having touched 70 nations.
I also have lived in the country away from the city and appreciate a slower pace of life giving one time to reflect and reconnect with his or her Creator. Nevertheless I value and enjoy both geographic and demographic contexts as each have their unique blessings, challenges and opportunities for a minister.
I desire to welcome and yield to the will of God to build and advance Christ’s kingdom locally and globally. Being a worldwide minister with heavenly vision, a heart for souls, a solid Bible teacher able to make mature disciples, and having the faith, patience and humility to release leaders to exponentially increase your congregation’s spiritual fruitfulness locally and globally; I can powerfully and passionately communicate the Good News of Jesus to your congregation, families, community and simultaneously impart an unstoppable spirit of faith to empower God’s people to live victoriously, be a blessing and impact society.
In relate well to different cultures having lived and traveled throughout 70 nations of the world.
For example in relation to the culture of Seattle and Washington State, I appreciate their organic food and rich Asian diaspora. I recently authored and published “The Future of Food” (volumes 1 & 2) after earning a 2nd Master degree in Global Food Law.
As for Asia, I have lived and ministered throughout the continent for 4 years and also Pastored a Chinese English Congregation for about 3 years.
Living in Orlando, Florida I also speak some Spanish and have traveled from Mexico to Argentina being able to connect well with the Latino community.
African Americans and I get on well as I appreciate their rich spiritual heritage, struggle for equality, overcoming adversity and Africa itself where I have ministered repeatedly.
My inclusive multi-generational focus facilitates both church growth and personal growth. I was raised by my grandparents, for whom I cared in their old age to avoid putting them in a nursing home.
I therefore understand the challenges of the elderly (physically and emotionally). In fact I have overcome many physical challenges myself from life-threatening situations while in war-torn and impoverished nations, giving me a unique understanding of how the human body works.
My understanding and wisdom relating to health and nutrition can energize the elderly and add years to their lives and life to their years.
As for the younger generation with their mobile devices and smart phones, I can provide them opportunities to maximize the media and make an impact locally and globally, while simultaneously teaching them the blessing of being present and uninterrupted engagement.
I myself have generated millions of page views online through my videos, articles, pictures and blog posts touching and impacting people throughout the world.
In an age of information overload, we are increasingly being spread wide and thin like pancakes and coming up short as people as our relationships become more distant and less meaningful.
Present in body and absent in mind, mobile device users (though some argue they are "multitasking") are in actuality less efficient and effective while having an IQ 10 points lower than their peers.
I value education and can help parents improve the academic experience and outcomes of their children. Likewise I can help the unemployed and those in transition reinvent themselves and further enhance their skill set to increase their opportunities in the marketplace.
Because personal growth and advancement in all areas of life is important to me, I can appeal to unbelievers and believers alike desiring personal transformation and a new beginning.
This present generation wrestling to be relevant in a global economy therefore has a unique set of challenges which I am well equipped to speak and minister to, while simultaneously using and leveraging their talents to spread the Good News of Christ to be relevant in society and make an impact globally.
Please contact me regarding any Senior Pastor, Teaching Pastor, Lead Pastor, Interim Pastor opportunities or if you do not need a Pastor presently, but rather are desirous of a visiting minister to come speak and spark a revival and renewal within your congregation to transform your church family and move them Godward to be different and make a difference in society.
I pray all the blessings of heaven and earth be yours in Christ!
