Beautiful April 14th -- The Warriors did it! They were amazing, they've broken just about every record out there. And you know what? Stephen Curry is incredible. Okay, I'll shut up, but I do hope that lots of you saw the game. All right, one more fact. Stephen Curry made 10 3-point shots last night. With a season total of 402. The next NBA player closest to that had a total of 276 (or thereabouts) The team scored more than 1,000 points from three-pointers. Okay, now I'll shut up. I wonder if any of the team got any sleep last night -- far too excited.

I'm writing the newsletter today, so you should start receiving it tomorrow/Saturday. If you're signed up and you don't get it, check spam (It always depends on your server) If you aren't signed up, go to my web site at CatherineCoulter.com -- and do it there -- easy.

Do you know I've redone my office and have donated about 20 boxes of books to libraries -- really really leaning down and why? I don't use my amazing reference library because it's easier on the Internet. And so many novels -- I've culled, leaving only representative favorites. Furniture getting moved around today into final locations, hopefully. All my new furniture is from MacKenzie-Childs -- very whimsical, very Harry Potter, I guess you could say -- I'll post photos when everything is perfect -- It's been 15 years with the same furniture, so truly, time for a big change.

April 13, 2016

April 13th -- A big exciting day and why, you ask? Tonight either the Warriors make history or they don't. They're here at home so hopefully that helps. I don't know, but given the sheer importance of the game, it might be shown on one of the major channels. Check it out, see Steph Curry -- he is truly amazing and hopefully he gets in the "zone" tonight, and the whole team does.

Another gorgeous day in paradise -- I sure liked seeing those huge hail stones one of you was holding in your hands. Texas, right?

Another reminder: Insidious is out the 9th of August now.
I sent in maybe 150 pages with my own responses to the editor's page edits/suggestions, will review those with them this morning, then all changes are inputted and Insidious goes to the copy editor -- this is the person who gives the manuscript the once over for grammar errors, consistence, anything, you name it, to the extent that you expect to see a grade at the end. I'll have a new copy editor since I'm now with Simon & Schuster -- keep your digits crossed.

April 12, 2016

Incredible Tuesday, April 12th -- Yes, yes, it's bee decided by the powers that be at Simon & Schuster: INSIDIOUS will be published on AUGUST 9th -- which means this one has to run really fast into production -- very short time frame -- I'll be signing "tip" sheets Like I told you -- I autograph heavy stock and the page with my signature is printed in the book itself -- It will be at quite a few stores, BAM, Barnes & Noble, to name a couple.

Lots of running around today, which I really don't like to do on a work day, but there you have it. Isn't it interesting how we're all creatures of habit?

Rainy Friday, the 8th of April -- I know, I know, yesterday was Friday, but what can you do? I'll tell you, sleep in tomorrow, if your critters let you. Eli, Peyton and Cleo know when it's the weekend and they don't begin walking on me or batting my face or chewing on my hair until after 6:30 --
That blue hat -- I know where the dream came from -- I was standing in line at Safeway and there was a magazine with the Queen wearing the blue hat with the announcement that she's 90 -- but shirtless Putin? No clue -- The circus? Well, I suppose it had to be something interesting or else why would all those people be waiting in line?
The Warriors are now the second team in history to win 70 games in a season -- they've got 4 more games -- win them all, they beat the 1996 Bulls for most wins in a season. Will they do it? If they play like they did last night against San Antonio, they will, they were amazing. However. If they like the way they've been playing for the last couple of weeks, good luck. All right, I see glazed eyes out there and hear that yawn. Enough -- moving right along.

More work on The Devil's Triangle today -- I'm in the Bermuda Triangle now, and the action is flying high and wild -- Bat-crap crazy with power, nothing like it --

April 7, 2016

April 7th -- Another gorgeous Thursday -- hope you get a gorgeous one too --

Announcement: Joan Wolf has a new ebook out -- The Reluctant Earl, $3.99. Young love, evil father, mysterious mom, and what about this bizarre inheritance? Lots of fun so give it a try. Also you can get a free copy of The American Earl if you go to joanwolf.com. What a deal -- so punch those buttons on your ereader and prepare to enjoy.

I was standing in line, wondering what the line was for -- it was very very long, I couldn't see the end to it and behind me was the Queen. She said in a very loud voice, "I am 90 years old! Putin can't say that." And I agreed that he couldn't and I told her he should wear a shirt as well and not be such a power-mongering dweeb. She agreed and smiled graciously. I heard her whisper to the person behind her, "Who is Putin I just spoke ot?" Then a very big man came out of a tent and said we could all come in and see the lions, but the Queen had to come to the head of the line and lead us all in. She waved as she walked. She also wore a blue hat. Yes, that was a bizarre dream and you know how usually you can't remember a dream? I can still see that blue hat.

April 5, 2016

April 5th -- Tuesday -- some of you are having SNOW -- what did you do to deserve this? Do you think rotten weather in APRIL is, like a cold, based on misdemeanor sins committed by the populace? Hmm, food for thought.
Who saw the Villanova/No. Carolina NCAA championship game last night? I have to admit I was pulling for Villanova simply because they hadn't won a championship in something like 32 years and No. Carolina wins every other year, phenomenal players and coach. In the last 4 seconds, all tied up, and Villanova launched a three pointer -- and in it went for the win. An amazing finish. Tonight is the women's -- UConn and Syracuse -- I'm not a huge basketball fan, but these games are fun to watch. You're seeing the future NBA players -- and more and more three-pointers. In five years, I think Curry just might be history --

What do you think is going to happen to Colin Kaepernick? I sure hope he goes to Denver. I do not understand why he wouldn't move heaven and earth to get there -- best defense on the planet, great coach -- and face it, he isn't happy here. Is it all money?

Today, you excellent examples of perfectitude, you're going to show the world you're both smart and buff -- the perfect combination, well, maybe add funny in there.

April 1, 2016

April 1st -- April Fool's Day -- now jokes are great, but listen up, do not yell "FIRE" to someone older, you don't want to be responsible for any heart attacks. But get the kids good -- they'll love being scared/surprised and they'll remember it always --

In a couple of hours I'm going to put up the cover for Insidious -- I do hope you like it -- and it makes you feel like something bad is lurking, closer and closer, creepy and scary -- and oh boy, can't wait to get me some of that --

It's yet another gorgeous Friday and you're polishing off the week in very fine style. After you finish earning enough bread to feed the kids and critters, you'll work out, nice and sweaty workout, okay, and that means hard cardio -- then it's home for a night out or in, doesn't matter, but if you're in, watch the Warriors -- have some popcorn, maybe some beer nuts --

March 31, 2016

March 31, 2016

3-31 -- Thursday

Your last day to cash in on March -- (it's sort of like a great sale, last day) and you'd better enjoy this last day of March before we zoom into April.

So many of you have pets and isn't it true that you have a limitless amount of love to go around, and that's what's important about an animal. They give you complete loyalty (well, cats do, but they do it a little differently than dogs) and they "take you out of yourself" and your problems and aches and pains. Right?

March 30, 2016

3-30 -- Wednesday -- March is getting ready to topple -- it's zipped by. I'm working hard on The Devil's Triangle (TDT and no that isn't what happens if you cut off the booze). It's an exciting story, and naturally, there's world-saving involved.

The cover for Insidious is all done and approved -- when I have the all-clear sign from the publisher, I'll put it up for you. A very good friend of mine suggested the theme of the cover, and it's all there -- we'll see what you think if it looks "insidious" -- shiver my timbers --

Now, listen to me: If you're not insanely allergic to animals, get yourself a pet or two or three, the more pets the more love flows out of you. If you're alone or if you're depressed, a loved one has died, then a pet is what you need because as long as you're still on this blessed earth, you want to live and enjoy it. Think of all the animals at the shelters -- go for it -- take the leap and you will never, never regret it.

March 29, 2016

Tuesday 29th -- another brilliant day to welcome in with a huge smile and a lovely thank you. This morning, the alarm was about to go off and I opened my eyes an there was Eli, an inch from my nose and he was lightly tapping my cheek with the fur side of his paw. Does this wring your withers or not?

Cold: how about PND? Goodness, that sounds very unpalatable, but one has to endure -- first workout yesterday, on the short side, but 40 minutes cardio, just on the slow side.

Since all of you have no sins to speak of (misdemeanor or felony) and thus no punishment cold, I know you're all keeping fit and healthy and gorgeous. This will continue or you with consistency or you will, alas, have to have a visit from the Exercise Minions, vicious little buggers, you don't want them in your neighborhood, so be virtuous. Today, roll those arms, slowly, back and forth. And don't forget to suck in your gut whenever you happen to think of it --
