this is just one big info-dump now. i HATE how this is rapidly moving toward the dnf pile i HATE

absolutely hilarious. exquisite. there is no plot to speak of yet: i am constantly introduced to new characters and their backstories and outfits and letters – but GOD how funny. amazing.

not a fan of reading fantasy lore in form of myths instad of the actual, you know, Fantasy Narrative For Which I Came Here. i get inserting relevant passages from supposed sacred books of the secondary world before each chapter, but if i wanted to read myths, i'd just, you know, read my classic myths homework😶

somebody should yell at me to read in russian MORE because it feels so cozy and good and nice and i actually miss it i just forget that i do all the time

yo this should have had more rounds of editing, straight up at least the third time i'm seeing words repeating on one page (ex: "pale like they were made from porcelain" – 2 LINES later "looked like they were made of clay of porcelain"). rlly annoying. throws me off & distracts immensely

not to be Too loud but one of my first drafts starts with the mc living on the market near the palace with an old woman and a girl he kind of gets along with but not really. i abandoned it a while ago but seeing THIS just NOW is making my heart pound, i am literally living the dream right now
