its a rlly good book. if you're interested in tricksters/mythology (indigenous american/norse/greek) like me or if you enjoy reading literary theory & fiction writing theory like me, i HIGHLY recommend this, i cannot put it down and it's only taking me longer than usual because, well, it ie nonfiction and it's packed with incredibly thrilling info. so yeah

currently highlighting the shit out of the passages here whispering to myslef "holy shit this is a great book" like an absolute lunatic that i am and planning to not sleep tonight almost at all

i SUDDENLY need to have read this book like YESTERDAY for a super exciting essay so naturally i ordered a prime amazon shipping but the book will be here on thursday and by that time i need to have a really detailed outline ready so we gonna have to spend a scribd free trial on this for now

anyways yes this is way more fun than the Iliad but if i had to choose just one as my fave i wouldn't be able to rip

i am in a big house with a big library and i am reading 50-100 pages of random books i wouldn't read otherwise. i can now say that i SEE the appeal. this is a very low-effort read and i can see myself checking out the entire series over the Christmas break, just saying

im at this extremely cool cottage by the lake for the weekend and they have an incredible library with lots of books. they have classics like some jane austen and newer stuff like the water dancer, and they also have new fiction that was clearly bought for the guests like am*rican d*rt and acotar. guess which books im gonna read a 50 pages of just out of curiosity. i dare you
