Well, everyone is watching/reading this at the moment so I thought I might as well give it a shot.

Not long left to go and well, I don’t love it, but it’s alright

I’m halfway there and ehh, it’s OK... the worldbuilding is just so bare though even if the banter and the characters are decent.

Reading this with the Between the Pages bookclub!

I’ve been making my way through this quicker than anticipated. I mean it’s alright. I’m certainly not loving it, but it’s interesting enough

Reading this as my first classic of the year!

It is certainly very different to what I normally read, but I don't know if the more absurdist type of fantasy is really my thing

Ehh, I’m now loving it as much as I thought I would.

Well, it's been solid but I can't say I'm enjoying it as much as the First Law books.

I’ve met a lot of characters so far and I’m excited at what the rest of this book holds!

I'm not loving it, but it has been interesting so far

This has been really interesting so far and I am just getting to the point where I think the introduction is over and that it is time to explore this world.

It’s certainly on the more classic fantasy side but it’s still solid and I like being back in this world

I haven’t read a lot of this yet, but it’s good so far

These characters need to get some sense put into their heads devoid of anything - but they’re also the sort of characters that I like unfortunately

Enjoying these short stories thus far

Ok, I don’t read a lot of books like this(I primarily read fantasy) but I am enjoying so far

Ok, so it is a bit slow and I would like some things to get a move on, and it seems like they are, but apart from that, I’m liking it

Do I remember much from book 1 even though I enjoyed it? nope - but hey, at least I spent two minutes skimming through a summary, so I’ll be fine!

I have heard stellar things about this and am starting 2021 off with this novel!

Book 3 here we go. This will probably be my last book of the year

First read the first four(?) books of Earthsea over four years ago and it is long overdue for a reread because I hardly remember anything and this time, I’ll read all the books in this famous series.
