Ehh, it’s been alright so far.

So, I still wish there was a bit more plot, but things feel like they have started to pick up now.

Ok, so not a lot has happened plot wise, but I do really like these characters and the overall atmosphere of 1920s New York

Reading this with the Between The Pages bookclub

Holy damn, well that just happened. Things are getting intense now and I’m all here for it.

Didn’t get through as much I had hoped today because I’ve been distracted by the world frankly, but I am really enjoying what I’ve read so far.

Cannot wait to finally start reading this!

I’ll just say, this is pretty slow and repetitive and I’m actually more invested in the romance than the actual plot, but oh well

These characters feel pretty standard for Mass, but despite it being fairly slow so far, it’s not that bad

Part two here we go! I feel like I’ve just read one long prologue where not enough happened, but I’m willing to be forgiving for now considering it is an eight hundred paged monster. Note that I said for now. I am hoping it picks up slightly.

Ok, so, it’s no where near as good as the actual The Way of Kings, but it still is decent fantasy thus far.

Well, things have taken in a completely different turn.

Ok, so it’s clear that most of the basic elements from WoK are here, but my goodness, the plot it really quite different so far.

I just thought it would be interesting to see where one of my favourite series ever began. I’m not expecting to love this, but I am fascinated at what has changed between this draft and the actual Way of Kings

Well, things have gotten more interesting and I’m certainly more invested in the story, although the characters aren’t the strongest and I don’t know if I really vibe with the writing style. Still enjoying it though!

My thoughts so far on it, well, I don’t really know, but, I feel sort of mixed so far. Yes, the world is pretty interesting and all, but I’m feeling sort of lukewarm on the writing and characters. Still, it’ll be interesting to see how this progresses.

I’m am interested in reading this and see how it goes, partly because I have heard many mixed things on it despite it being so popular in the sci-if genre

Well, this relationship is incredibly unhealthy and everything that’s happened was already in Frankenstein so it feels really slow.
