162 - Asta fights Luck and working together they get through.

I love the ease of AJ and Levius’ relationship. They just feel right together. The end of the volume was a little anti climatic fight wise but personally there is a lot of tension with the arrival of Natalia. It’ll be interesting to see where this goes. The art is magnificent as always.

5 - we learn who Natalia is and her connection to L and Zach, which is pretty outrageous. We also learn a bit about the bald evil dude who took over as the head of Hugo’s gym where L now trains. They both have risen up through sheer willpower. The reunion between N and L and Zach is pretty extreme too.

4 - we learn extensively about the steam power of this time. Bill is teaching A.J. so she can manage a fighter. L goes to see Hugo. We learn willpower is made stronger due to trauma and future motivation. Hence AJ and L’s strength. Now Hugo fuels L’s future motivation too. We meet Natalia Cromwell who wants to join L’s new gym.

3 - awww they grant her wish to see Levius. Zach reveals she did that to him. She admits her memories have been returning and reveals how they can ease L’s suffering. Turns out Bill knew Zach would push the hour so he really prepped him for 2! His rival is impressed, realizing he’s not such a pushover. Haha L wakes up!!

2 - Zach goes to talk to A.J. in an underground facility where they can contain her if she goes berserk. Which she almost does because what they told her doesn’t jive with how they treat her or what she remembers, Zach can’t help it but tells her the truth. Bill who is very indecisive decides to trust Zach. Loved this! These 2 remain true to who they are.

1 - it’s been a year! We learn the world order has changes as Amethyst’s return has strained political relationships. A.J. survived and recovered first but she remembers nothing. They want to recover her memories because they need info, Zach wakes up and Bill makes him decide. Levius was put into rank I position 13. Rank I will decide who wins wars!

Cute! A tad too religious this time around. A bit sickenly sweet too. But I did enjoy it.

I just like these two! They proceed on the mystery of the mine.

Aww this is cute. She has such a hate on for men. But Steffan likes her and realizes she’s been hurt. The mystery of the rats, beast of Hamlin and missing children is quite intense. I think I know what’s going on but it’s fun nevertheless.

What you have been reading is a true story … and there again, it’s not. Fiction is elastic: it stretches to encircle true facts and then crimps them into shape to create Story. The truth is that a party of eight (not nine) boys and three men went over to Stac an Armin, also known as Warrior Stac, from Hirta and were marooned there for nine months.

Wow... toes cut off, a poor bird slaughtered from trying to help feed a stuck boy, an owner who finally sent his steward to rescue them. A village dead. I liked the somewhat happy ending.

Awwwww Davie boy. No. Poor Quill! Though I thought what he did to Kenneth appropriate. At least that Col Cane is gone though living the high life compared to the boys. And Farriss Quill kept from the greatest sin. Thank goodness him with a wife and two girls.

I like how Quill uses stories to calm the other boys. How when he was cast out he used titles to win them over. How sick I am of Col Cane! Now he has John of the secret sex and I’m so worried! Domhnall Don has a broken arm now too! He wants Quill to take he newly built raft to light a signal fire.

Woah talk about some intensive Scottish culture! A bit of religion but considering the historical time it’s appropriate. The fowling they do sure is neat if harsh. I’m dying of curiosity to know what happened to their families... and will they be rescued or escape the stac?!

Yeah I read this in between naps in one sitting today. It was an absolutely incredible journey. I appreciated how her adopted daughter and granddaughter reacted to learning her history. And all her friends who died and how overwrought some of the soldier’s were. And dealing with so many men in one day!

Wow... this is fascinating! I’m glad the girl cared enough to investigate on her own.

So as I suspected Henry was put in a role I didn’t want him in... and Jonathan was brought out. Ugh. I really like Sandra, but not the freaky sudden sex at the end. There were a lot of words missing and her letter wasn’t there at all! Disappointing...

I’m getting a little sick of her hyper emotionalism. The way she phrases things can be too much. However then we get to a part about fashion or location and it’s magical. I personally don’t like Jonathan and wish she’d break up with him. Though Henry seems somewhat controlling.

Henry is such a nice guy! And her apartment is very cool. A little late to Shanghai...

This is a little late in the book to be getting to Shanghai. And I would be pissed about my dad’s money. And I’d have broken up with Jonathan. He has major problems to deal with and if you still care about him he’ll be here when you get back.

A me too situation and online gambling. Tough but timely issues. The video from Henry sounds fabulous and it’s hard for me not to just want her to walk away from Jonathan and straight into Henry’s arms!

But that’s what bullying does to you. It plays tricks with your mind and leaves deep scars, keeps you stuck in fear, questioning your every move, dragging yourself along as though walking through cement.

She’s really hung up on what others think. Understandable but at some point you’ve got to let it go.

What happened with a Blue is pretty badass! I’m glad we got answers and I’m amped for the final book! Very good!

It’s been a wild ride with these rogue Nahx! The dam mission was a little long. I lingered over those pages a bit bored. But with so many characters there was a lot going on.

Wow this plotline with Raven is so odd but fascinating... but I’m missing August.

17 - they go have a fun day out of Town! It was cute...

16 - the little archer friend was up to no good. It bonded Mitsuhide and Zen, but what a horrible lesson to have to learn.
