This patch was a little boring as she goes on and on about not liking the animal sacrifices. I wish the truth would hit the fan so we could understand what’s going on.

So I’m liking this even though the couple seem to have fallen for each other too swiftly. I think the healing princess is outrageous to be crying and moaning about her new friend getting to live instead of die with her. And I don’t think the sun is dying because he’s too weak. And she really ought to tell the truth about her beliefs and the other girl hunting her.

She’s a bit of a nag about this modern stuff but I do love what happened with the jaguar!

That was a cool little twist. I knew about Leandros but not why. I love when I’m surprised even when all the clues are there.

He realizes right away that she killed her old lover once the magistrate and his father comes to the palace. He laughs and reaffirms he wants to marry her. But at the ball he won’t approach her. Odd.

The plot is quite good, better than other romance centered stories I’ve read like this. In fact the plot and romance are nicely balanced.

His ability sure is cool. I don’t like her or the modern talk about sex with hundreds of people. The bandit is odd. The fight was pointless?

We learn the history of the mystery human friend to the elves who was blamed for the elves demise. And it’s connected to Nero! Turns out she’s not a bird but a girl from the past who lost her human form using forbidden magic. Licht knew the prince hadn’t betrayed them at all. Now the prince is back unsealed for this day to takedown the devil!

The demon breaks out some nasty magic against Yami and Charlotte/Charla (elf). Nero leads the portal guy to the tablet ugh the stones... has him remove them and put them on a statues?!

Nero goes to the portal guy and starts talking wanting to be taken to the demon’s bones otherwise the humans with elf souls may not return to normal. Yami finds the demon and starts fighting.

Mosel comes and fights the Patry Litcht devil despair guy. When’s he’s done he tells Asta and Yuno he’s going to be the next wizard king. Haha Asta uses his sword to try to restore Patry. He gets his memories and chews him out for constantly giving up. Asta pulls him back!

The demon shares his plan now that it seems he’ll win. When a 4 leaf grimore holder feels great despair a 5 leaf grimore is made. He tries to leave after getting the grimore he wanted but you know Asta, no way will he allow that.

Shockingly...or not so shockingly we learn the humans didn’t exactly betray their elf friends but a demon caused them to wipe out the elves. Now Yuno will fight him...only he can sense he won’t beat him without help... and Yuno is here to save the day.

I did find it contrived Yuno shows up with the stone they need for the elf betrayer to release the demon.

Woah! Yeah it gets really surreal with this end, Ray and Emma turn into younger forms, the house goes topsy turvy and Mom and the kids follow them saying let’s play. Finally they find I and a hatch...

Pretty fascinating.

Emma and Ray go thru the doors and I thought demons were there... instead it was a change in scene to the queen and the heads of the regent houses. We meet them and learn their connections to the demons Emma and company took out. The queen’s design is soooooo good! And the frames with Norman are the extra good. Anyway the door opens to... Grace Field House?! They are puzzled.

Emma and Ray give their decision to the kids. Then leave. Kinda anticlimactic.

Norman goes down to talk to his new crew. He’s pretty straightforward with them about Emma and Ray. And we see that he’s been experimenting with the demons like they do on humans. Barbara freaks out and they have to share their meds with her. It’s clear they are very messed up.

Emma decides to go figure out how to make a new promise and return. Norman won’t agree to stop the annihilation but he’ll think about it when she returns. Ray is going with her. She doesn’t want Norman to have to be a god and commit genocide. Now he knows the special demons name... Mujika.

Mujika ... Sonju is the guy demon with her who wants to hunt humans in the wild

Norman explains why they have to eradicate demons... we learn Sonju is special and can maintain her form having never eaten humans. She can even make other demons maintain their form with a drop of blood. The royalty and 7 clan leaders are demons she’d bestowed her blood on and now maintain their form. Emma is distressed.

Her demon friend turns out to be the leader of a cult... clan of the evil blooded girl. Norman knows about her. That they don’t devolve from not eating brains. The art here was so creepy! Norman looked freaked out. It’s a pretty big twist for Emma who sees her so benevolently.

125 - Norman makes a deal with the Geelan clan who was banished from the other clans to the wilderness. They will be allowed to self govern and Norman will provide the plans to kill the royal house and the other clans... only they’re lying. Both of them, planning on using and betraying the other.

Hak plans on rescuing the dragons if things go south. Mizari is put in with the dragons. He badly wants to eat them and drink their blood to get their powers. But it won’t work. The water tribe army is sent instead of the sky army. Yona’s carriage is run down. The advisor who stops her wants her killed. But she calls him out and Suwon approaches. Things sure are building to a crescendo!

The guy with Hak from Xing shares some basic truths about this coming war. The soldiers are rather stunned. One guy who was there when the dragons were captured bad mouths them. Mizari the crazy dude stabs him and another guy. Wind tribe people nurse them. Mizari tells his princess he doesn’t see what he did as wrong. They guy is so weak he’d die instantly on the battlefield. Actually he made sense.

Tae-Jun agreed to Yona’s request to send up a flare telling Suwon falsely that the Kai kingdom has invaded. Hak arrives at the border to meet up with the wind tribe. It’s pretty cute how he mentions raising them to get along with people better. The crazy dude wants the dragons to join the 5 stars and be spared. They explain they love her too much for that they believe she’ll return.

The Wind Tribe receives Hak’s message and determine to follow its instructions. Their bond to him to much more powerful than to a king. Yona parts with Hak and spontaneously gives him a kiss before she leaves. He’s flabbergasted and she’s embarrassed. She goes to see Kang Tae-Jun.
