Ahhhhh Hak told Yona he loved her! Too low for her to catch but right to her face. It as sweet, he was worried about how hard she was pushing herself. Sinha also announces he’s willing to use his power for Yona, to save everyone. That’s a big deal. One of the 5 stars offers a way to contact Suwon... and it’s Suwon’s info broker! He recognized Hak and Hak him!

The dragons and Yun are taken hostage by Kouren. Yona and Tao make a deal with Yona for her to deal with Suwon. She’ll hold them hostage til she returns or Suwon attacks. She assumes Yona will die at his hands. Tao sends her two 5 stars to guard Yona. (Y and Hak need chaperones after all!)

Gija, Jaeha, Sinha and Zeno go to town for food and meet one of Kouren’s 5 stars. Another who spied on themjumps out and says they’re the monsters of Kouka. Jaeha realizes they can’t fight. That anything they do will seem like the will of King Suwon. If they fight it may start the war! Not something the dragons have had to worry about up to now.

This was a fascinating direction to take Yona. Zeno helps Tao escape by holding up the burning building. Princess Kouren’s spy was watching and saw him regenerate. She goes to the town and Hak and Yona witness her charisma with her people. Yona at first thinks she can do nothing to stop the brewing war. Then she realizes she can go to talk to Suwon about Tao’s desires. Hak will follow if she does.

The bonus stories are cute!

Nicola overhears Mizuki saying nice stuff about him. It’s pretty cute how much she admires Nicola. Hana decides not to say anything more about his mom. She was told early on his dad died and his mom was alive. It’s why she’s never pried before now.

At home they tell their friends about their new relationship status. Takane shares a moment about his mom. Hana proves and he storms out. He tells his friend he won’t run from his grandfather.

Haha turns out they are on the tip of the main island. A pig finds them and his farmer takes them back to the hotel. Hana wants a kiss from Takane so that it all feels real. And he gives it to her. Haha She tries to give him a compliment he’s been fishing for but he says it fails. They go home.

They find a bunch of animal bones in a cave. They figure out a way to make fire with coconuts. Hana feels like Takane is reliable. They sleep in each other’s arms, it’s adorable. I love all the emotions they’re going through during this trying time.

Awww Hana wants to spend some alone time with Takane. She looks for a little girl who is missing and finds her out on the deck saying goodbye. The ship lurches and Hana falls overboard just as Takane comes out. He leaps overboard but the ship pulls away from them. Eventually they see an island and swim there.

Todo the pop idol lover lays is wait for their team but they send Itadori to fight him. They just want him to delay Todo but he wants to win. So the goodwill event starts and we get setup for the first battle. It ends with Todo asking what kind of girl Itadori likes. Lol. It was an okay ending for a complete setup volume of the next story arc.

Oh and the other school is tasked with killing Itadori by their principal. A couple refuse but the rest are fine with it. Of course it’s against the rules of the goodwill event. Which is to kill a level 2 curse or exorcise the most within the time limit whichever comes first.

The goodwill event is starting so Gojo reveals Itadori is alive. It’s rather anti climatic. We learn the panda does cursed words so limits his speech. We meet more of the other school’s students.

Actually the curse escapes even trying to touch Sukuna’s soul and being punished by him for it, Nanami acknowledges Itadori as a Jujutsu sorcerer. Itadori killed people today, though he’d rather people die a natural death he begins to question what’s natural. It was a good arc even though I’m not sure the curse should have escaped.

They work together and go to kill the curse but at the last second opens a domain around Nanami. He can’t really hurt the curse so this puts him in an unwinnable spot. We see his back history as a broker and that a baker inspired him to become a sorcerer. Itadori breaks into the Domain and Sukuna helps him take out the curse.

The battle with Junpei ended the way I thought it would... Itadori is a friend after all and loved his mother. Unfortunately the curse mis-shapes him and Itadori tries to make Sukuna come out and heal him. Which of course doesn’t work. Fascinating though that Itadori can touch his soul... the battle was really good! Nanami shows up for part 2!

Wow... poor lad will have to fight his new friend. And his mom sure was nice, she didn’t deserve to die by cursed object just to manipulate her son.

Nanami comes through and axes the curse.

Nanami finds out where the curse’s hideout is and goes to fight him. He doesn’t want to irk overtime but ends up forced in to it. He sends ur lad to test Junpei the kid who’s friends the the curse. They escape from a teacher who thinks Junpei was friends with his bullies.

The kid who witnesses the boy’s death meets the guy who did it and goes on to chat with him. Nana Min is called on a Gojo to teach our lad about residuals only to learn the creatures they’re fighting are humans or. Used to be. I really like Nanami!

The kids from the other school beat up our kids. Gojo chews it their principal and says there are curses running around who can communicate. Not good and they are ignoring it to maintain their power. HS boys die in a theater from deform d heads.

GAAAAAHHHH AJ what the hell?! She of course went after her brother so the government was going to eliminate her. Levius and Bill got there in time to stop it. Blessedly Natalia had found her before they all arrived and they were able to spin it that the two were walking together and she ripped out the transpotter to save her life.

Levius goes berserk wanting to blow off his arm change out to find AJ. Bart gets mad because Natalia is trying desperately to get into the slam to be by him and he’s just going to blow this title match off for a girl. Turns out AJ ripped out her heart? Since it tracks her and she wants to get to her brother.

Oh and Oliver is in a tank?! He’s told about Langdon.

Langdon AJ’s brother starts fighting. He uses something other than steam. Natalia catches it and tries to find him. AJ sees him and offers to investigate him so as not to bother the gym guys or Bill. Then she disappears.

We see the business side of things take shape. Bill is called in. It’s all big business. Levius is not the one people are betting on...

Wow! I liked how Legoshi’s rescue went down! Haru is certainly seeing him with different eyes now. Louis though also turned up to rescue him from the lion he didn’t kill. But it seems he’s throwing himself at the lion’s gang!? He’s out past curfew at school and his rabbit obsession has been exposed. Oops. Now they’re at a love hotel where he’s going to confess... to trying to eat her!

38-39 Panda teaches him that his best weapon against lions is his biting power. But Legoshi refuses to use it. He does small Haru on the Lion that catches them but uses the guy’s gun and shoots his ear off. Haha they fight 10 lions and Gohin tells him to beat his 2 and run and rescue Haru.

36-37 Louis is blackmailed by the mayor to cover up Haru’s kidnapping. Legoshi comes to him to save her and they fight. Legoshi follows her scent to the black market where he’s mugged. Gohin, The Panda, rescues him and agrees to help when he hears it’s to redeem himself as a carnivore.

35 - Haru is taken to a lion gangster who wants to eat her for her white furred flesh. The images were disturbingly degrading and sexual. Legoshi overhears the mayor decide to hide the situation from the public.
