Natural disaster flash flood broke a dam. 27 dead! They made it though. And she forgave Nash and made some friends.

Major spill and Nash is really hurt. Love the fly fishing, river rafting and rock climbing in this. Very chilling and pulse racing.

They’ve all become river friends now. I thought it was early when she forgave Nash at 50%. But now at this point they’ve become friends we learn they don’t make it to the next meet up. sooo we needed room for the survival part of the story. I do like the writing and how we learn more and more about these 4 kids.

There are a lot of good thoughts about life.

Ok we met everyone. I really like Wyatt. She also meets Nash the river guide who was with her mom when she died. Yeah it wasn’t pretty. Then they chase off a bear and she thinks about using the hatchet Wyatt let her use on Nash. Only she knows he didn’t deliberately take her m9m from her.

Indie is dealing with her mom’s death by returning to the river she died on. I liked how she was introduced word wise but it’s also a bit boring. And we need to get the other 3 perspectives going.

So I made it to this point but her past sexual encounters has caught up with her and make me roll my eyes. She’s made her bed and now has to lie in it but I don’t want to read about it.

Oh no this isn’t.... oh yes it is! Not sure any amount of surgery could create people like this. It is horrifying that she was beating and torturing her own F! And then she killed B! Maybe.

I skimmed the last 26% because I couldn’t take the torture and finally she couldn’t either thank goodness! Sloppy sex with Bruno where he casually says Car. Bow. Hole. Is a person. She searches a database and finds a journalist let go with that name! She’s onto something.

Awww they capture one! And we learn about her dads last day.

Wow she’s determined and amoral.

Premise complete! Now we’re getting to the juicy part.

“My name is Liv Fleming,” she said in a trembling voice, “and the fact that you’re doing Oliver! this year makes me sick. You don’t have any sensitivity at all. You’re a terrible, terrible person. I hope you go to hell.”

I feel for her and her odd situation with Doug. Plus I really love talkative Bruno.

Final chapter - awww she’s all grown up and an aunt now. What a wonderful way to end this story. Learning to embrace growth is such a hard thing to do when you’re young. It means taking it step by step. And enjoying each moment.

45 - Jin and Sango are pregnant and get married! The magical letter to Hibi was cute.

... without her growing shoes!!

44 - awww she wants a phone so she can text Hibi everyday. Her mom wants a text too so she gets a phone. And Ran convinces Nio to get a phone so she can send photos. J8n is against her going but expectshis text too. Hibi brings her a pot with a seed in it! So cute. And then she’s off.

43 - awwww Hibi and Ran make declarations to one another. It’s super cute and the art is so gorgeous!!

42 - awww Ran tells Hibi she’s going away and spends the day at his parent’s flower shop. He admits he plans on being a florist too. She tells him she wants to get to know him better. It was a super cute day.

41 - awwww Ran is growing up. She’s decided to go away to train. She’s really dedicated herself to Tamako’s lessons. Now just to get her family on board. She talks to her dad late after his work is done and he agrees. It made me cry after all she’s been through.

40 - Ran cleans her room using a spell she created. It was cute how she helped her dad. And how she sought out Nio. Turns out she used water she magiced. We see one of the sisters cleaning is made beautiful when she drank the water. Turns out Ran made it to share with the city. Such a neat way to heal.

Then we got a history of the bugs. Odd way to end the chapter.

Awwww Hibi you’re such a great friend to Ran. I loved how she dissolved into mini Ran’s that expressed all her varied emotions. I loved that he’s the one who got thru to her. And Nio saved the kids at school. Haha

38 - Aww Ran one up and learned Otaro is dead. Disbelieving she uses her magic to check everywhere herself.

2 bonus stories - loved the character pages at the beginning of the volume. Worth the purchase just for those! We get a bonus story about her mom and then Hibi dealing with the magic kid bullies. It was cute! Her mom is such trouble but a good woman.

The smaller spawn when killed turn humans into ghouls! Pretty huge twist.

Rize pushes him to face all the people he’s killed. He says he just wanted to be needed. Touka finds him! The CQ squad comes to help her extract him.

Mutsi goes up against her old squad members and... falls to them. They won’t kill her/him which kind of makes me sick but is also understandable. Ken wakes up and sees a surreal landscape. He tries to get back to his level bed ones and runs into Rize.

72 - awww they have a dance and Tadano works up the nerve to ask Komi! As a girl! Haha I love when he gets all nervous over her.
