Minsu is why they were able to escape the night of King Il’s death! He works for Suwon now, he has a personal connection thru his mother and was unknowingly passing info to Suwon thru a subordinate. They learn the wind tribe armies will be used for Xing. Yona gives up her hairpin from a Suwon to fund a message being sent to them from Hak. The old man said they’d stand by them in future if needed.

They get to the capital and get his informant to contact Suwon... but he doesn’t come to see them. He sends Minsu... who seems to know them.

The end of the Byakko arc was pretty satisfying. I was glad to see their relationship progress and to see the past put to rest. I’m so jazzed to see where this goes from here. I really enjoy the balance of super serious emotional drama and the funny slice of life familial moments.

Fumi had to face down the Fuyu she’d made in her head out of guilt. It represents her maturing and letting go of the past in the name of the future. It really helped that Kyutaro pledged his love for Fumi and explained he saw the two as the same person.

Fumi is pretty messed up about her decision as she worries about Kyutaro’s reaction. She decided she wants to live and retain all she’s learned and the convictions she holds. A sound reason if anything.

The white Queen is happy and plans on quickly killing the snake. The area they are in is collapsing so they say goodbye to his parents. It’s sad but even sadder we learn Fuji has a choice to make as compensation for luring in the snake. Either she or her previous self who he first fell for must disappear...

One of the interviewers hated them and sabotaged the questioning. Anya mixed some of the words up but they liked her. Anyway it looks like they failed this mission. I loved this manga! I totally fell for Twilight, Yor and Anya and can’t wait to see their family antics in future volumes!

Wow... this was hilarious! They go for their interview and are picked out as a family who could have the elegance needed to go to this school. So dirty tests are laid out...they get dirty but brought changes of clothes needed to proceed! Haha the cow attack was the best! And how Anya comforts the cow.

Yor is a gorgeous assassin with a younger brother ho worries about her. She’s socially dense and it’s really cute! Anya and Twilight meet her when shopping for clothes for her. Anya speaks up because she thinks it’d be cool to have a spy dad and an assassin mom.

1 - Oh wow.... I love Twilight but I especially love Twilight with Anya. Her telepathy is so neat and she’s pretty adaptable to any situation. They passed their first mission to get her acceptance to the private school but now they need a mother.

Awww the last story was so cute... Tadano is sick and calls Komi by accident and she comes over and makes him soup! She holds his hand when he’s asleep and is embarrassed when Najime comes in. We also have a couple where Komi is alone. One she shops for her mom and is worried about her hair. We also learn about the seating fight at Christmas l she sat next to a Tadano not in the seat left for her.

Katai works up the gumption to invite Tadano to ice skating. T invites Komi. They don’t know how to ice skate but surprisingly Tadano does! He teaches them both. It was cute how he and Komi almost kissed and T caught Katai falling.

Najime wants everyone to get together for a shrine visit. So we go thru all of Komi’s new friends to see what they’re doing when Najime calls. Komi calls back and says she’ll come too!

Komi visits her grandma’s again. This time she learns cards with her grandma and cousin. They go to a shrine together too. And she’s a shrine maiden for a day selling charms. She meets Inaka the country girl. I love her family. They’re funny.

The snowball fight was hilarious. Komi was put on the kid’s team. So they won. I forgot but Komi’s brother went shopping with her. He’s pretty abrupt, it was funny cause he can talk.

Awww Komi wants to invite people over but can’t! Tadano realizes it’s Komi’s birthday soon and calls Najime. Haha she’s so touched by the cat Tadano picked out. They went shopping and he got them to pitch in for a less overwhelming group gift. Tadano is so refreshingly normal!

The city has decided to pick the next Beastar. Not sure I understand why it’s made out to be so important. But Juno sure made a name for herself. Though she’s mad at Legoshi that he didn’t reject her outright. He honestly thought she had no reason to like him.

Well I spoke a touch too soon... Louis is back long enough to resign from the drama club. He’s been gone for months and we learn he’s become the head of the lion gang. He had to eat buffalo meat to survive and agree to be used as the face of the gang but he’s going to do it because herbivores can’t survive in the world as it is.

Jack hangs out with Legoshi over summer break at the school. Then we learn about him and Legoshi becoming friends as boys. It was neat to learn about his closest friend. I’ve always thought Jackwas a fascinating part of Legoshi’s life. Also Louis is still missing... he really must have been eaten!

Haru is dispirited by Juno’s speech as she tries to use peer pressure to make sure the new couple don’t become more to each other. Legoshi though has really been thinking about his feelings deeply so he can be honest with Haru. I really liked that and Haru obviously was too as she responded favorably. Their lighting ceremony was looking at the stars over the city lights.

Haru realizes she can’t get Legoshi out of her head. They find each other in the crowd and decide to talk... then Juno’s show starts... she announces Legoshi’s rescue and calls him on the stage... Boy is this going to backfire for her!

Juno meets Haru and realizes contrary to how Legoshi acted (like he was taken) he hadn’t had sex with the rabbit. She intimidates Haru with her size but says she’ll win him without threats.

Haru tries to stuff herself in Legoshi’s mouth as her body knows the natural order of things. (So hilarious!) So they decide not to have sex. They’re in trouble with their dorm mothers for staying out all night together. Louis is missing. Oh and L confessed he tried to eat H earlier and she confessed she already knew. I wondered if she had.

As I suspected Natalia didn’t back out... and Levius knew she wouldn’t so sent Zach and Bill to be her seconds to save her no matter what. Balthus (his correct name!) killed a couple people on the way to the fight. He believes he’s saving his sister. Pudding tells the crowd this too. They should stop him by bringing her out, duh!

Levius finds Natalia at the ocean and reminisces with her. She realizes he came to convince her NOT to fight Balthur and she agrees she can’t fight him. Eventually she makes her way to Baldy but we don’t hear what she tells him. The girl who fought in V is badly hurt and will die. Her coach says to show the kids cause if they can’t watch her die they should get out of MMA.

The lower grade fights start. It gets bloody and the crowd comes unglued wanting kills. Natalia is to go up against Balthier. No one thinks she’ll make it.

Natalia is mobbed by a group of kids who are her fans. She determines to win and move up to rank II even though the girl’s brother will annihilate her.. Levius is sick at what the MMA President says his reason is for allowing Pudding in... because his craziness makes for powerful entertainment. L vows to win and take down Amethyst as champion.

Natalia sneaks out to go to a leisure area. Baldy follows her and explains the gym President wanted her to retire saying she’s unfit. He didn’t want to do that to her so he’ll support whichever way she wants to do it. Retire or fight! Levius meets the MMA board and learns Dr Pudding is now on the board as the president’s assistant.

Photos the same as sent to her agency is found in Hikaru’s bag! Still Nina and the reader believes in him. We know he’s shocked she doesn’t trust him even though he worked hard to make her feel safe. It’s retry obvious after the photos there’s only one person who could be the stalker...surprisingly a female!!

Oh no! Her stalker has found her and he does just do throws and has judo ear... just like Hikaru. She witnesses a girl get groped on the train and helps her defend herself. I loved this! The woman only car and the growers that plague the Japanese trains.
