Shidan knew about the plant and wanted to use it to light the roads. He asks Shirayuki not to report it but she says she can’t do that. The chief arrives and we see that her and Shidan were super close when they were younger. Shirayuki collapses but Ryu finds a cure. And the city is eventually reopened.

Obj and Shirayuki with the help of the kid find the glowing water after brining the ink back to life in the book. Then they find where the water comes in and find the actual plant infecting the water. Very neat

Izana and Shirayuki tell the leader of their decision. Zen stops by and is handling outside the city. He sends Obi in and we see him report to Izana and get a glimpse of Izana’s feelings. Love many of the frames with Izana!

Ryu remembers the chief telling him about the same symptoms the boy has. It’s from a book... they search the library and find the book... it’s serious enough they want the gates shut. She goes to prince Izana to get it done. Love this situation and how the prince is involved and the boy who brought it to their attention.

She makes the royal couple their meal and stirs up old heartfelt memories in the wife. Then Aoi collapses! When she wakes up she tells Ginji about the blonde fortune spirit that beckoned her into the interaction! We learn also from the odanna and Ginji that the datura couldn’t have kidnapped Aoi on their own... someone else is involved.

The Odanna leaves his meeting to find Aoi. The fox kid finds the culprits. She’s almost swept away by the ice person. She wants to try the head chef’s food so refuses to let him leave in disgrace. He provides ingredients for her new menu which she works out based on speed and what’s on hand. It sounds delicious!

She’s kidnapped on her grocery trip to keep her from the royal couples anniversary!

Legoshi learns thru a horrible carnivore game that his jaw strength has seriously fallen. But in training with Gohin it’s transferred to stronger limb strength! Haru comes and confronts Legoshi for dodging her after she realizes she doesn’t want to play the field anymore, and Sheila gets close to a lamb friend. Too cute!

The polar bear shaves Legoshi so he can come to get trained without being recognized by the Lion gang. Everyone at school is freaked by how he looks. We meet Cosmos a stripper herbivore who is empowered by her tease. She meets Louis. We see he tries to part with his father, even pulling a gun but it doesn’t work.

So I guess the bully girl was raped? Groped? Not sure. But he has to kiss it away for her to be happy.

They confirmed he wasn’t the stalker thru birthmarks. The catty bully girl gets him to walk her home saying she’s being stalked too. She gets taken by the idol girl’s stalker because of her bullying of the idol girl.

Haha I read it straight thru I loved it so much! She makes a new friend Milady Becky and we meet mom’s scary brother who works of the secret police.

Awww Tadano bonds with his roommates taking photos of the boy’s posing in the bathroom. Haha and he bonds with Komi over the photos she took during her free time with her roommates. Too cute. Loved this volume!

Komi goes on day two with her group and they have loads of fun. She mediates a tiff between the other two without even realizing it. So cute!

During bath time one of the girls asks to touch Komi’s breast! lol and at bed time Najimi slept with the girls and they had a pillow fight. A little go hum compared to the previous chapters.

Tadano worries about Komi’s and his own group the most. The tour guide is cute. She’s depressed until she realizes Komi and Tadano are actually listening. She realizes they are so compatible she thinks they should get married.

Here starts a school trip arc. I loved how she called Tadano and opened up to him about her worries for the trip. He didn’t solve her problems but was just there and willing to be a support. It was a cute advancement of their relationship.

We meet a new character who is narcissistic, Naruse. He feels Komi is just as good looking as himself and tries to get close to her... but her friends keep blocking him. Haha Komi sees he’s really down and gives him a handkerchief. Too funny!

The second half was much better. Saeki comes out with his plan to use outsiders to stop the other school from destroying the festival decorations! He also confronts Maki, something we’ve long awaited. The ex student council president explains to Mafuyu about the 3 bets in play, starting with the one with his mother to stop her divorce. Odd way to end.

I’m not really sure what is going on in the bigger scheme of things. There is a festival at Mafuyu’s school. Now they’re performing the play they wrote.

Finally the princesses confront the priest. When the older princess is threatened Yona stands in front of her... the dragons turn into dragons to protect her when previously they had noises around their necks! It was so cool!

One of the 5 stars is dead. Tae-U the new leader of the wind tribe comes across another 5 star being killed by the priest. Of course he intervenes. The battles are intense in this volume. The dragons are stretched to their limit.

Yona, Hak and the princesses fight the priest’s men. They were tasked to kill the 5 stars. The dragons protect the one with them!

Yona convinces Suwon by saying something brutal about his father. It enrages his political adviser. She heads back to convince the princesses of Xing to meet. She and Hak find the princesses guards dead and one of her men shot. The anti war faction doesn’t seem to be as against battle as they claim...

As the wizard king said Asta is the scapegoat! And he’s manipulated into taking the fall!

Woah! What an end to the Midnight Sun! And the shocking twist with the wizard king!! Julius is alive due to his time magic but he’s no longer himself. He predicts that the kingdom will likely be destroyed and Asta killed. Because the nobles need a scapegoat to protect the knight brigades 5hat went rogue being as they were possessed!

The elf prince and 1st wizard king join together to protect everyone else from the magic trying to eat them. Asta is at his limit but with Yuno and Nero urging him on he surpasses his limits. Nero makes a prediction for the future that is pretty ballsy to make at this point.

Asta and Yuno join forces and fight the devil evolving to do so. Yup pushing Asta gets him to form a sword to hurt the devil. I love when they team up together! The double spreads are gorgeous!

The devil combats the first wizard king and the elf prince. Their magic can’t kill him though as he regenerates even from just his heart. Asta is on to a way he can contribute. Everyone is at risk as the devil wants to consume all magic.

Loved this volume! Full of mysteries, reveals and betrayals!
