Did I forget to mention that while before she was thinking of the present, actively making sure she stayed alive, while now she keeps thinking of the past, playing a fucking rag doll that constantly needs a handler such that it won't fall down?

My god, is this a stereotypical gender feast? So while Heidi was a guy, she was tough and brave and courageous. Now that she plays as a girl, she's scared of everything, indecisive, emotional and constantly needs support to keep moving forward. What the hell happened to her gumption?

OMG, Joey is awesome. I love the self-respect too, where she doesn't blame herself or feel pity, but rather respects herself and assigns blame to where it should go while keeping her head high. It's the first book where a heroine has done this, and it's SUCH a refreshing change of pace, I could kiss the author.

Wow... She has a personality, a backbone AND a sense of humor? The kind that people look at you as if deranged in the middle of a coffee shop because you lighter bubbles up before your brain thinks to contain it?

Callie, I could wrong her neck for the potential she lost as a character, Hunter and Ryan keeping the little interest I still have in the book. It's just blasé now... Awfully boring and detached from an engaging and emotionally involved novel

It's just flat now, like an endless plain of grass. Everyone exclaims how beautiful it is, but I just see grass... Umm yea. After than whole muse in the sky episode, I'm just not attached to the book anymore.

She did nothing, didn't strive for anything, it's like her personality was left back on Earth and she was this pathetic fragment of who she used to be. Quite sad, and I'm debating dropping the book at this rate. Value is obviously a push over with no mental capabilities now. Fine is the kick ass heroine and behold the poor excuse for a female.

The book was awesome in the beginning, but it dropped on me with the verbal diarrhea information overload of the second stage of the book. While she was cool in the first part (though not deciding between Hunter and Ryan was irritating), in the second she was flimsier than a wind blown feather.

Jesuit priests, is this what teenagers are like nowadays? Melodramatic like they can't leave without each other even though they started knowing each other one week ago? Can't leave without each other? Give me a break. Fucking grow up!!! A person should add to your life, not BECOME your life. Why the hell is dependency and martyrdom promoted in this book?

Oh lord... He's liked her for seven years, has kissed her, taken her in an amazing date, and he just realized he's going to go back so he puts the brakes on the romance... Boy, was your brain missing before? Or did you just misplace it?

Yep. FBI agent dies, his laptop goes missing, FBI doesn't change the passwords so anyone can hack into it. Totally believable.

It's kind of shitty of her to judge Nick by his asshole friend. If I had a friend who was an almost rapist but I didn't know, I wouldn't want it reflected on me. Are Ted Bundy's friends evil people? No, nor should they be by association, judged not by their actions, but by the actions of others

Um... It's a high 3 so far. A 3 cause it's ok, but a high 3 because it is intriguing and compels me to keep reading. But... Why the hell has J not thought of looking into the Wave thing Ben mentioned? Come on.......

Swoon!!! Why is it that so few books have strong, kick ass heroines like Ryiah? This should be a requirement in EVERY BOOK.
