Okay, I need to buy the Stormlight Archives which I'll probably start reading by end of next week.

I can't understand the business strategy to only release a hardcover version of Oathbringer. Why isn't there a Paperback version yet?

I want the entire series to be of the same edition. I can't buy hardcover. I want to buy the two-part editions. Or at least the mass market paperback. Why isn't one out for Oathbringer?

“Wayne, haven’t you ever read any religious texts?”

“Sure I have.”

“Really?”

“Yeah, lots of the things I read have religious texts in them. ‘Damn.’ ‘Hell.’ ‘Flatulent, arse-licking git.’”

My fucking sides!!! Wayne is a hoot and a half.

I remember making a huge deal about reading challenges, planning books for 52 different topics at the start of the year, joining goodreads groups and all. I followed it for maybe 1 month and then I kept reading fantasy books one after another for the entire year.

2018 is approaching and my mind is itching to 'make plans' again, I don't know why it even bothers, knowing I'll hardly stick with them.

Sanderson trying to excite his already excited readers before starting this book:

Mistborn is not quite halfway through the evolution I have planned for it. I can’t wait for you to see what is coming your way, and this book is where some of that finally starts to be revealed.
Enjoy!

Hyyyyppppeeeed! Who the fuck is Trell????!!!

Abandoning reluctantly. Although I've been appalled at Gilead, the story itself hasn't been properly told imo, not too many details provided and I'm almost halfway through. Not that one needs an explanation to condemn oppression of women. I like Kafkaesque settings, but I also need to have the right frame of mind to read and appreciate stuff like this or The Trail.

Currently I'm on a fantasy reading streak. So nope.

God! Wax and Wayne banter is so fun!

Wayne is crazy witty. He and Lightsong from Warbreaker are two of the wittiest characters in Cosmere I've come across.

“You didn’t grab the hat for me?” Wayne asked, sounding offended.

“I was a little busy being shot at.”

“Busy? Aw, mate. It doesn’t take any effort at all to get shot at. I think you’re just makin’ excuses on account of being jealous of my lucky hat.”

Allomancy, Feruchemy and possibly Hemalurgy in a steampunk-ish setting with what looks to be a detective-heist plot, 300 years(is it?) after the events of The Hero of Ages?

This has been interesting AF, so far. So good!!! I'm hoping there is more information about what Harmony did and how the world advanced so much in just 300 years.

I've read 5 Cosmere books in 25 days.

1. Mistborn Trilogy
2. Elantris
3. Warbreaker

*blows own trumpet*

My plan is to complete entire Cosmere by end of 2017.

Mistborn Era 2 (3 books)
Mistborn & Elantris short stories and novella
Stormlight Archives (3 books)

After I finish a book, my mind is not even considering picking up other books. I just straight up start reading the next in Cosmere. Addicted. :D

Is it time for the Sanderson Avalanche?

P. S: Fucking blurbs and descriptions on accursed websites. The blurb on goodreads has a huge fucking spoiler. The exultation of discovering and realizing who the Warbreaker or what he/she is supposed to be, among a host of lead characters would have been great, but no. Fucking blurbs, fuuuuckkk!!!!! Aaaargghh!!

I get anxiety when two important characters in a story are in close proximity but their meeting is delayed for the latter parts of the book.

Of course, this happens in almost all books, but it makes me effing anxious all the same.

Dis ez intrstin. veri veri intrstin. Jaynt robots, nanorobots, huj bildins, onfathomobul stukchurs, adorbul tini ant ergates, reinkarnashuns, fonetik languaje.

P.S: I'm practicing Bascule's English(Bascule is a character). His English is adorable, although it hurts my brain looking at the text.

I'm unable to fathom or imagine the immensity of the structures and objects in this book, this too is hurting my brain.

Gods and ascension to god-hood seems to be a common theme among Mistborn, Elantris, Warbreaker which happen on different planets within the Cosmere universe. So Stormlight Archives also has something like this I assume.

The magic system in this book reminds me of Feast of Souls by C. S. Friedman, but I guess this one isn't that dark and disgusting.

P. S: I so need to read some god-debunking fantasy after this.

I'm desperate to read Stormlight Archives. I've never read an ongoing series! I've never had to wait for books to be published in a series. So I'm delaying it by reading everything else in Cosmere. And Warbreaker is supposed to be linked to SA(not in a major way).

Hopefully this is good. Apparently, some characters openly contemplate the idea of Cosmere within the book, or so I've read. That'd be interesting.

Very interesting world this. I like the names used in this world for some reason.

After completing Mistborn last week, I told myself I will not go on binge reading the rest of the Cosmere books. I thought I convinced myself.

Nope. I don't want to get off the Sanderson hype train.

*Onto Elantris! Choo! Choo!*
