Also this latest development of their wedding literally being gatecrashed with a secret fiancé of Thomas’s is so ridiculous and I just don’t care🙄 it’s creating drama for dramas sake. And immediately after they’ve said some really lovely vows to each other she’s second guessing it and assuming that Thomas is the utter worst and how much she doesn’t trust him and he’s the bad guy now. I’m over it

So far there has been very little on the actual murder cases it’s just been a lot about their relationship which is starting to feel like overcompensation for the stupidness that was the last book. And yes there have been some sweet moments but I am so sick of the back and forth of Audrey saying she loves him and trusts him completely to then immediately not trusting him and thinking the worst over and over again!

She maybe needs to cool it just a bit about her whole fascination with death thing. It seems like it should be more concerning to the other characters 🤷🏻‍♀️

Get pretty hard to read now because they have to make a jumbled language of somewhat phonetic sounds to write their letters because there is so few letters left allowed.

It takes a real turn into some dire circumstances. People get banished and punished. The council becomes more and more franetic with their idealisation of Nollop. You really feel their struggle. I hope they all end up ok in the end

This is a pretty clever book. You can tell that the author had a lot of fun testing their vocabulary with this one having to work around the disappearing words. It’s an interesting read that is obviously making comment of governments control over information and people’s response to this, either blind compliance or rebellion. The letters make it seem very personal to read about these characters. Very intriguing

It’s not what I was expecting but I’m enjoying it. I thought given the author wrote the girl with the dragon tattoo that it’s be super gritty but it’s been very chill, just a detective novel. It reminds me a little of a Scandinavian Elvis Cole, with the somewhat quirky but competent detective who is ultimately very alone.

A very random library pick which is quite bizarre so far but I’m intrigued.

I’ve quite enjoyed this book but he’s a bit of a sad character because he doesn’t really fit in anywhere so he’s very much a drifter in every sense of the word which makes me sad:/ I like that him and his foster sister still love each other after all those years even though he had to leave

I really like weylyn, he’s an interesting character but he’s also very sweet and I like that. Him and Mary together kind of give me morning glory vibes which is nice, I really hope they get a happy ending together.

I’ve been in a bit of a slump but I’m quite enjoying this book. It’s interesting to read a book about the main character from the perspective of the people that meet them rather than from their own perspective. It makes him seem mysterious because you only see him through their eyes without knowing his internal thoughts

I’ll admit that some of the worldbuilding and lore is going over my head a bit, but overall I’m still quite enjoying it so far. The immortal and the squire are definitely the most interesting at the moment. The names and places are so complicated though when they really don’t need to be

Everyone feels a bit out of character and much less fun, when shouldn’t they be more chill considering they won🤷🏻‍♀️ iko is so grumpy in this. Also because I read the wedding before this I feel like I already know all this stuff that’s happening, like cinder making a democracy and what not because it was mentioned what they’ve all been up to

So far this is ok but I feel like they’re inventing problems to milk another book. Like IMO having indentity issues and rehashing the whole android ‘racism’ again. The other characters seem way less cool. This comic feels unnecessary. It’s like that romance author said you can’t make sequels because you have to change the happy ending to have a new conflict to face:(
