I really like her with her demon family. Not super keen on the whole teeth for wishes thing and all the animal killing but I’m still intrigued

I honestly think that there might be too many twists and turns in this book. Because literally not a single thing is what you expect it’s really hard for me to get invested at all because it’s always just like oh hoho you thought you knew what was going on? You were wrong x100.

It’s possible that there might actually be too much mystery in this book. Like I get it the games and legend are all very mysterious but they could pepper in a couple answers so you still actually care what’s going on rather than being like yeah sure this might as well happen. This book gives me Alice in wonderland vibes, just tell us what the fuck is going on! This whole thing has been a fucking nightmare!

Really liking this one a lot more. The characters seem more fleshed out and the case is really quite scary at times but in a good way, as in you really feel the stakes and the suspense. Pendergast is great and is really giving me Sherlock Holmes vibes which is cool

Too much about the museum staff. I need more Pendergast because I’m really intrigued by him
