Psychos: Serial Killers, Depraved Madmen, and the Criminally Insane
Just so we are clear there is a big difference between people with psychosis and psychopaths. Like a BIG difference. Also a big difference between psychopaths and people with PTSD. The intro is so edgy and filled with ableism. No love, a bipolar person with PTSD who's partner is Schizoaffective, and prone to psychosis, NOT psychopathy. WORDS HAVE MEANINGS, people.

I have a really hard time now suspending my disbelief when it comes to cozy mysteries now. *sighs* DNF.

Her roommate is being annoying with wanting to know more about Amy's secret society than she is willing to share about hers. Like really? Then gets huffy when called out on it.

It's weird to see Kay and Mariano dislike each other because they are basically best buddies in later books.

DNF. For the internalized misogyny. Constantly. Also the way the author writes female characters sucks. So the horror of parasitic worms is not enough to keep me reading. I have so many books to read so this is geeing discarded. Bye.

I've read A LOT of romance today, so to break up some of the monotony, let's try some old school YA horror. >:D

At least Dulcie has a back bone. This book is infinitely better than Tender the Storm.

So Rolfe almost died and Zoe basically left him and he can't find her after his recovery. A. I wish he died #SorryNotSorry and B. This book would be over instead of nearly half over.

You're actually shocked that your husband was/is a rake? (AKA he had sex with any female that he found attractive)

This book is a disaster.
If these two talked like two adults so many of their issues would be solved. Stop acting like stereotypical teenagers. I know teenagers that communicate better. SERIOUSLY. STOP.

I'm I the only one who is semi-irritated that Rolfe is hiding her family's possible death from her. I mean it's one thing to give her hope, but it's another to prolong the pain like this. Granted we still don't know the actual outcome of her family in France, so who knows?

You can see how much King has grown as a writer and see the early influence in a lot of his stories and novels now. :D
