Dropping every other book to read this one: I regret nothing!

So far I am enjoying the life out of this. It's a bit like ender's game, but instead of following the perspective of one really smart character, we get the perspective of four different people. I love this because it gives a better picture of the galactic situation. good so far

yeah, I don't like murakami's female characters. Also his books tend to make me feel lonely, and I already feel lonely enough as it is, so maybe his books aren't for me...

At this moment, this isn't as bad as the wubc, but I still don't like his female characters. I'm not sure why, but all of them bother me so much. That was my main problem with twubc (among so many other things). Is this a problem I'm going to have with all of his books?

I'm going to be honest; ever since I finished the Wind Up Bird Chronicles, I have dreaded trying to read Murakami. I thought I would love that book, and I really, truly, absolutely didn't. Has anyone else read both? It's not bad so far. The first chapter wasn't bad. I mean ... yeah, not bad.

So much to process.

I am struggling! Gah! I was really looking forward to this book, now I am questioning everything.

Oh boy am I struggling. I don’t like Jude. In either time line. She’s horrible and I really dislike her.
