John Cleaver my good friend why does Dan Wells make you suffer so much

I’m making predictions way earlier than usual but I also think I know what the twist is because I saw it in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, but this is my favorite type of twist too so I’m okay with calling it, and I don’t think it’s gonna make the experience worse for me.

The chapters in this book are really well constructed, they’re long but each one ends on a major cliffhanger somehow. And there isn’t a single paragraph in this book that doesn’t make me want to keep reading.

I was worried about how this book started, because the voice sounded so different but now I’m loving it. Everything different makes sense. Once again, this seems like another Dan Wells slam dunk.
