This book is really good! I thought it would just be an average book, a decent first entry to a fantastic series, but holy shit, the story never lets up. I've listened to more than half the book in two mornings and an evening in between back and forth from work.

This is an ebook on a Wordpress site. Goodreads says it has 6680 pages, but those pages are not recorded on Wordpress. Instead, I've added up the number of chapters and found there are 304. If we take 6680/304 that is approximately 22. So I'll treat each chapter as 22 pages with the last chapter being a little less. If I stop in the middle of a chapter I'll indicate that too. This will be fun. I'm excited.

Smithers has always been my favorite character in this series. No depth whatsoever (until book 9) but who cares, dude’s fucking awesome.

Only 5 chapters in but I already feel as if this is going to be some of the best character work I've ever seen in fantasy.
