I can't decide if the beginning of this book is rushed, or if I'm just used to Sanderson's slow starts. Either way, though, while the world doesn't feel as rich as a lot of epic fantasies I've read, I am really strongly connecting to Rin as a protagonist. She's so much fun to read.

I’ve read bits and pieces of this book already, namely the Emperor’s Soul and Mistborn Secret History, so after reading The Hope of Elantris I skipped straight to Threnody. And this novella is really damn good.

Udy Kumra is on page 125 of 303 of Over Your Dead Body (John Cleaver, #5)

For reasons I won't spoil, this book is really different from the last 4 books in the series, but it's still REALLY good. It's a bit more relaxed from the thriller structure of those books, but it really works. This is more of a character study so far than a true plot-driven thriller, but it's still really awesome. John Cleaver is awesome.
