i’m halfway through and i’m not sold yet. i will read any book that says it’s about lesbians or vampires, this was both but the romance isn’t doing much for me yet and i like more gothic vampires. i’m liking the lore but it’s a lot of exposition.

like it could be political activist from a good family but no money meets rich unconventional girl who wants to start her own business

i feel like this should’ve been multiple books. like split it in half. this one could be helen/jacob/olivia/washington and the next one could be amy rose/john/ruby/barton. they don’t seem to intertwined enough to need to be happening at the same time.

interesting and a bit repetitive but it seems like every relationship that’s doing basic courtship and following all the rules is failing but every time they do shit they’re not supposed to do it works out.
