i wonder how they’re gonna cast gabrielle in the series. i feel like a trans masc or masc nonbinary actor would work best. from the moment he killed that boy for his outfit i knew but this is an old ass book so i don’t know how they’re gonna deal with it.

i’m guessing they stole that hair cutting bit and gave it to claudia in the movie but it wasn’t the exact same emotion tied to it.

immediately a way better book. like 2 lines in i was loving it.

i hope this doesn’t sound ridiculous but i kinda think attempting to kill lestat was unjustified. they didn’t even try to just leave first and from the sounds of it his only crime is being rude and annoying. (the murder doesn’t count, they all murder)

cynthia has a beautiful voice but i’m so used to bahni. everyone not only had a different voice but the accents were different depending on who spoke like tzain and zélie had a different accent than inan and amari. i would love to listen to cynthia read something else but her mildly changed british accent doesn’t work for me in this book.
