I am relying more on samples before I decide to read a book or not, this one kept my interest enough to continue

Colin has to be one of the most narcissistic and disturbing character that I've read in a long time. His personality creeps up on you slowly, as the story progresses making you feel more and more disturbed by him. In other words, a superbly written character.

Cat biscuits? She is pouring biscuits in the cat's bowl. I keep imagining bread pouring into the bowl. I'm guessing I'm wrong and biscuits is cat food?

I had to stop reading but it isn't because I suddenly disliked book. Life got really busy and when I do come back to reading and finish this book, I want to enjoy it not rush through it.

Love it. Thank you Karina for bringing me back to reading again (not just audio). I must leave now so I can ignore everyone and finish this book.

Well this book has grabbed me and won't let go. Absolutely addicting.

I so wish I had more time to read. It is so hard to find a great book and set it down due to lack of time. I want to read!

Its easier to be patient in this book in the beginning because i know all the infodumping has a purpose.

Ok... I know... another psychological, dark, twisted, suspense book. I'm addicted to this genre right now!

I have not been in the mood for a zombie book (I know, is it even possible). I seem to be in this psychological thriller, suspense kick right now for my books. I'm putting this on hold until I'm in the mood.

I have missed many exits listening to this book. It is almost a hazard since I get so into the book that my concentration on other things is not the best (aka driving).

omg. what. the. hell.

This IS my audiobook obsession. I had three theories on WTF is going on, I had to be right about one of them... right? Wrong. I suck. All 3 are not possibilities... meaning i have no clue. Since im major ocd, im seriously going to lose some major weight trying to listen to just one more chapter while walkin the dog.

Im impressed. i was worried that this book wouldnt be as good but Wright did it... love the added characters, the humor, the horror and the plot. so far even better than book 1.

Im so happy to be back reading even if I am reading twice as slow as before.

This audiobook is driving me crazy. I'm so tempted to cheat and figure out what the hell is going on. Love the twilight zone feel but I hate not knowing. WTF is up in Pines. Is he imagining all of this, is it 5 days or 15 months. OMG....i will not cheat. no looking for spoilers.

love zulu's sis. I think Lanore needs to forgive Meshack, he purrs....talk about showing affection.... though Zulu is well, a beast in more ways than one.

Now THIS is alpha male..... (Zulu talking about what he will do to a man blackmailing Lanore)... "Then I'll have Rivera in a box, bleeding and starving. And when he's overcome with hunger... I'm going to feed his spine to him." I love a man willing to protect his woman.

I might be out of my slump (other than audiobooks, have not read a book in 4 months) because I glanced at page 1 and then found myself 11% in within no time. Love the characters, the horror element of this series and the harshness of the setting.

Trying to finish this audio, so I can write my first review for badass blog in a really long time. Im excited to get back to reviewing. this book is so different and it has surprised me with the # of twists that i sure didnt expect.

I haven't written a review in 4 months (don't ask), how can I be 40# best reviewer? I'm guessing it is still broken?

Want to know how you can decide whether an audiobook is any good? Instead of ratings, I like to give blocks, how many blocks are you willing to go around in attempt to get just a few more minutes of the audiobook in? On the way home yesterday, I went an extra five blocks so I could continue listening! I love this book, I knew nothing about it and it has been such a great surprise.

I'm clearly into the weird, spooky, supernatural, horror books for my audiobooks. I wonder why but oh well, I'm going with it.

Ok. 1+1 does not equal 2 in this book. Why did they not address the kids being set up, that the lady officer said he popped out of nowhere (clue that something is not right), that this feels like the kids are stuck in some type of virtual game? Why no answers and I'm already at 90% Even worse, why aren't the kids catching on that they aren't simply locked up? I still love it even w/ all the ?????
