When the country gentleman says "you know nothing" in response to a comment about his hat, THAT is foreshadowing. What he is REALLY saying is "listen here, you ignorant city folk, this hat you like, it came from some dead city folk that we murdered in our back woods that you like to visit for a Vacation, you don't know that I'll be wearing your hat soon enough"

If it wasn't crazy busy today, I would miss part of the morning just to keep reading. I'm loving it.

Ok, I thought Katniss liked her bow and arrow, Ed has her beat. I just learned more about archery than I care to ever know & I'm only 4% in. Of course, I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that those arrows will come in handy later when something scary is after Ed?

OMG... so if the prez knows about Maria and Dwayne, who told? hmmm. I can't figure out who to trust? Everyone has their own agenda. The only two trustworthy characters- Maria and Dwayne. Dwayne might end up on my fictional boyfriend list. He's so yummy.

I have not seen the movie. Though, I do know about the squeal like a pig line and scene. I need a very adult book (not erotica though) after all the YA books I've been listening to.

I might need to stop this. I think I do. I'm really disliking Janelle. She is such an unlikable character.

almost stopped book. Annoying and stuck up main character.

Forgot to mention.....major love for Dwayne. Except, somehow I have George Clooney with blue eyes in my head. Not a bad picture going but I have no clue how I arrived at a blue eyed George Clooney for Dwayne. Maybe I had seen him on tv when I was just starting to read? Who knows.

Ok... so don't like the doctor. Don't trust any of them. Love this book. I absolutely love the cover. Wish she looked a bit more like her character in the book though.

This has an interesting start. Listening on audiobook, even though I have an ebook copy. I need to stop collecting multiple editions of the same book.

OMG... great book and no reading time today.

Everyone is sick in my house. Both kids, hubby AND dog. It's been hell.

I do have a question... why not flame throwers or incendiary bombs? If you have a steel/concrete or other non-flammable wall protecting city, it seems everything else is game for serious burning (including what we want to burn).

Ok. Totally hooked. Darnit. I really didn't want to be addicted to another zombie book. It's starting to worry me. LOL

I now officially have three versions of this book, a lost paper copy (it's in some unknown corner of my office), electronic copy, and audiobook. It's time to actually read it.

Loving it. I keep reading, forgetting to do updates.

I must admit, if this was not on audiobook, I probably would have stopped it. It's not that it is bad, it's just different. It's hard to explain. The audiobook narrator is absolutely outstanding and she makes the book. I'm glad I got this far because the story definitely has picked up.

I have to do my makeup again. I just cried my mascara right off. Im such a crybaby.

OK... now I can go back to this book (I need Motrin first.. lots of it).

I have a splitting headache. I have managed to hold my breath so long reading that I caused my own damn headache.
