It's been a while since I've posted. I've been working 60 hours a week trying to prove my worth at this new job. I miss you all so I'm coming back here. Loved this book. I'm now relistening to entire series.

Remember this book. It's going to be a huge hit. It's very well written, great likeable characters & unique. And addicting. I have work to do but I can't stop reading.

Don't remember requesting this book. Don't know why I started to read it but damn it's good.

Davina Porter is so damn good. How good? I said " dinnae ken " today and I didn't mean to.

I hate when I figure out the twist early on. Too many obvious clues. Our nanny is someone important, I'm guessing an undercover cop, our mom is no mom. It's not spoilers, I'm just guessing. However, it's making the story seem stale.

So... Why would a woman, with a history of miscarriage, continue to work with less than two weeks left? Hmmmmm

This is so good on audiobook.

Ok, so I normally wouldn't point out a book that isn't even finished but this book is so beautifully illustrated and interesting that I had to share...(and no, I don't get a penny from showing you all this)...

Not bad. So far, all the characters are basic scumbags. Hopefully, that will change.

I can't believe I am going to say this but I don't care... This series is my favorite by Mead. I love the setting, the characters, etc. You have to be so fucking patient during the beginning of book 1 but after that, it's wonderful.

I really liked book 1. I was very surprised by so many people not liking it. Very excited to get into this one.

I did not mean to start this. I have like a bajillion books to read before this one. I'm also putting in a bajillion and one resumes so I can continue to be sheltered and comfy while I read. I have an idea. Someone want to hire a sarcastic book nerd that also loves animals and will work really really hard but can't really write as evident by this run on sentence?

Still can't decide if I like this book but I continue to read out of curiosity. This means it's good enough to keep me interested.

I'm still deciding about this book. Love the writing but the triangle is tough.

I am going to take a Kate Daniels break for a bit. I am hearing the story but not listening.

Beautiful writing. Love the characters. I can't believe I voluntarily picked a book knowing it would lead to a love triangle (all signs indicate such an assumption). I don't regret it, the story is good.

Slow start but enjoyable.

Notice that I'm only at 3 percent. No crazy reading marathon. I'm still liking the series. I don't love, love the series like I do with Mercy and Adam. I love, love, love Mercy and Adam. I wonder how Mercy would fair against Kate and Adam would fair against Curran. Just based on brute strength, no magic. I'm guessing this was already decided on some supernatural challenge aka someone's website.

Kate, so you would rather believe some female that answers the phone than the guy you supposedly have feelings for? Not happy with Kate so far in this book. She is supposed to be so intelligent but making such immature decisions regarding Curran.
