Ok, I'm going to give you, the future reader, a tip about this book. That weird confusion you feel at the beginning, will go away. I'm writing this authors name down. She is brilliant.

Oh my god this book is frustrating me but I will continue. It's hard, the characters are so unlikeable.

I think Jamie and Jacky gave an entire new meaning for the jolly boat.

I'm slowly trucking through this book hoping the characters will be more interesting or even likable soon.

OK, between Liam, Jacky, and Jamie, I absolutely love all 3 of them. Which means one of them will probably die and I'll cry a bucket of tears. Hopefully, I'm wrong.

Liking the story but I'm questioning the science. If we had even the biggest, most badass CME, we still would have at least 15 minutes to save the electronics we absolutely need. I know it's fiction but if I'm going to follow your world, make sure you don't use elements of my world unless you explain it.

The story begins with a bang, that is for sure.

I can't believe I'm going to ask/admit this but here it goes- do any of you escape to the bathroom to finish just one more chapter only to come out way later than you thought? I've faked stomach problems just to excuse my bathroom disappearance.

It took me a bit to remember all the terms and mechanics of the world. However, once it came back, it's easy to follow and so very cool.

Wow, the narrator is fantastic. Poor Jacky, I can't imagine starting life watching your entire family die.

This is another AH recommendation.

For months, I was on a psychological thriller kick and everything else bored me. Now, I want nothing but urban fantasy and historical romance. Makes total sense. Not!

I don't know why I agreed to read this but it has surprised me. So much fun, lots of humor and action.

Sweet book but I'm still waiting for something.... Maybe I need Jamie to show up, wrong author, darn.

I have this book right next to The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August on my Kindle. It was too much confusion for my little brain so I decided to read one of them now.
