I was so wrong about this book when I first started. It is 100 times better than I expected and I don't want to reach the end. It is killing me knowing that I'm almost done.

I admit it, I'm liking this book.

I have no clue how I got this book on my kindle. I may have bought this in a middle of the night book buying binge (books are my drugs of choice). When I saw it on my kindle, I just started reading since I was curious. Oh my. I need to do some more mindless buying if I'm going to select books like this. Glad I just started reading it rather than read the book summary. It does not do this book its justice.

"I don't care what they think", after Sara and friends make fun of her. The problem is your actions show you care very much.

Totally reading this based on the hype.

Ok... I'm now hooked. Looking for excuses to go listen. Though, I don't think Sammy needed his own POV. A young child doesn’t say "grime", he says dirt. If you tell a story from a small child's perspective, you must be realistic. It's a hard task to manage.

Finally getting much better now that the characters and world building is in place.

I started reading this but found myself distracted and bored. I switched to audiobook and now I'm enjoying it.

Hmmmm... I like this story but I'm unsure of the characters. Too many introduced too quickly without in-depth development. However, the story keeps me reading.

This one is pretty interesting. I hope I'm not figuring out the mystery as easily as I think especially about Coles past. I hope there is some twists.

I read the same page 4 times. No zombie books right now until I'm in mood

Taking a break from this book not because I don't like it but because I am distracted and want to read it when not distracted.

If you are a self proclaimed survivalist, why are you only prepared with weapons and flashlights? Your wife has to "get the food". I thought you would have a bug out bag ready to go.

I'm here. I've been in a funk with reviewing and blogging. I didn't want to review a book and deal with BS over a potential bad review. I have too much going on to deal with butt hurt people on the internet. However, I miss so many of you (including many authors that I maintain a relationship with).

Loved it.

Thank you Mead for bringing back sleepless nights due to a book instead of real life. Love it. Very different from her other books but also wonderful as well.

I'm nervous about this one. I have not read an ARC in so long because I wasn't sure I could finish it before publication due to real life issues. I'm guessing I'll be able to finish this one in time.

Colin is one of the most disturbing characters I've ever read (and I've read my share of vile, disturbing characters).

Different, fun, sexy. Nice writing.
