Interestingly, starting this from the beginning again has led to picking up some nuances I missed the first time around.

Starting from the beginning.

Less than 20 pages to go, and I have NO idea how this situation is going to resolve itself. Masterful storytelling.

Found this book by pure accident on Prime Reading. Easily the most evocative writing I have read this year.

Also, King's Circle, Matunga, has been my home for the last 7 years. It is also the place my mother called home for the first 26 years of her life, and intermittently thereafter.

The book is amazing so far.

Only read the introduction, and strongly suspect I am biting off more than I can chew.

Always been a fan of Dr. Gawande's writing, but even so, it was sheer providence that I picked this book up to read during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Note to self: do not read footbinding stories during lunch.
