big 👍 for the first story

considering this is 2 novellas and I'm at 25% a bit odd there's no major crime yet.

turns out 30% was where i read to before, all from there.

ive def read this far before. wasn't sure, rereading the first part i remembered stuff that i knew wasn't in that book, but wasn't sure if i was remembering stuff from snippets or BTT overlap or what. but no idea exactly how much of this one I've read.

like, i don't want a whole book of it, but i love getting to see the same events from different character's viewpoints.

conventional wisdom says it's a big no-no, but i swear those big multi pov fantasy series where the chars are only occasionally in the same place would be 1000x more interesting as a set of 6 (or whatever) single pov books. if the overlapping scenes feel repetitive, then you're just a shit writer

an apparent distinction between myself and mg lewis is that in my dialect you can not be tall AND stocky, shortness is a key feature of stocky. stocky being essentially a short man otherwise proportioned like a much taller man of robust frame
