Having been rather meh on Blandings when I first found Wodehouse, I've avoided them since, reading mostly standalones after finishing the Jeeves books. And while I enjoyed the earlier Psmith books, I worried he would be too minor a player here and the focus would move around too much, so I put it off. But so far this is a top tier Wodehouse plot and I suppose I will have to give the Blandings books another look.

Feels weird for the thing the book is named for to be over half way thru.

spent 2 hours last night whittling down the options to a dozen titles and then just end up reading the next Bergeron. :) (i did start 2 other things, but idk if they're gonna stick yet. i think i'll be sticking to the lighthearted end of the spectrum for a while, cuz reasons.)
