Sigh...this book has turned into a pity party.. it's almost comical

So every single person Jude runs into in his youth is a gay pedophile... totally realistic...

It really feels like some of the stuff written about Jude's background is the author wracking his brain for the most over the top worst things imaginable... There's something to be said about being subtle...

Even though all of the characters get their fair share of "screen time" this seems like it's more of Jude's book.

Very enjoyable..but it's like a contest is who can out depress the other. And it seems a bit meandering at times... Still very good

So far...it's interesting...reads like a very sad, depressing biography of 4 lives, all very very dependent on each other...

Okay, I didn't mean to say "Xfiles crap"... I loved xfiles... but this story doesn't do well in my opinion with it. If it were just the protomolecule...fine, but this whole nonesense of space stations have feeling, slow zones controls by stations... it's just silly

I love that Bobbie is back in the lineup, but the fact that the story has seemingly come back to the core characters. I usually love the support staff characters, but the last book just left such a bad taste in my mouth... Here's to no weird xfiles crap...

Oh my god, this is so much better... Finally back into the Expanse series! The last book and last few novellas where such crap.. S.A Corey got their mojo back??

I really hope this continues...after reading the last book, it really left the series with a bad taste in my mouth. So far though, Nemesis Games isn't disappointing!

I honestly don't think Beck would have turned Vienne in... In the heat of the moment, though, I get her reaction. The description of of Isabelle's stay at the camps was pretty brutal. But it all happened too quickly...

I take back my 'crappy narration' comment. It's just certain characters sound...off. Anyway, I love how Isabelle is turning out... I know things will go down hill probably, but she literally saved men's lives...Vien meanwhile? Yea she has her own responsibility to her family, but she's made a few bad choices. Not sure if getting too close to her "rentee" is a good idea anymore...

Well aside from the crappy narration, the book has be hooked! The author really captured the time frame that France actually put up a fight...it was over in a few pages! xD All jokes aside, interesting to see how occupied France was for the normal people

I so need a break from sci fi and the expanse ::purge:: something far more down to earth and humanistic feels good right now..

Too much Man vs Nature for me. I still don't get the reasoning, or relationship of the whole proto- molecule thing...and starting not to care

Really great "human" story here! But the pacing back and forth, is jarring...not as explicit which time period i'm reading immediately...

I don't think I've ever read a "novella" in my life...but for this series...it's so worth it..

Okay, I'm not sure who I hate more, Melba or "Bull". I think it's the fact that both killed people who were genuinely good people, undeserving of such a brutal death. Melba more so. I really hope Anna is involved in exposing her.
