Well, I'll say this, very very interesting, if a *tad* hard to follow when listening to it. Lots of asian names.. but it's really good, interested to see how these characters are connected..

One boon to this book (there's very few) is that the pacing is a bit better than the 'growth' of Arthur in Once in Future King

A very "real" world interpretation...this is so dull...

I can't wait for this to be over... This lackluster and flat portrayal of Arthurian legend is a crime ...

This is not an Arthurian legend tale...this is a poorly written, dramatic "history" of the late roman empire /breton tale of some characters. These characters are like serious, but very lame mis-representations of their Arthurian counterparts..

Okay...Not sure how I'm liking this...Kay was always a little douche..but a wife beater? Killer of his mother and perhaps pedophile? Uhh these are NOT the characters that I know...

So far this is ok...I've read a few Arthurian legend books, and this one is taking the more realistic approach. At least so far. Steeped in Roman history, I don't mind that so much, but it seems very different in it's re-telling..

Waited way to long to comment on this. I started reading this because I really enjoy the concept art, and design of the movie. While it's a pretty bare-bones plot, and a very simple concept, the design of the Jaegers or Kaiju are really appealing to me. I'm tired of the flimsy, dynamic, and super quick look of Gundams.

Wow! This led to G. Washington getting out in time! Saved our guys some time! Hence they named Murray Hill NY and NJ after her!

The battle for New York begins! After the "easy" taking of Boston for America, it looks like the deck is stacked against the rebels this time...and who knew, people actually *want* Staten Island! This book is so good... seems to give such a fair look at both sides, which I love!

So far, so great! I enjoy how this book gives a pretty level and balanced view of both sides, and doesn't hold anyone up to be the 'good guys'. The weather was really against us in this, we had a lot of lucky breaks...

After reading Jonathan Strange, I feel like getting some historical reading in of jolly good England and the Americas..

I like the very well blended mix of historical accuracy and fantasy. Battle of Waterloo mixed with wizardry magic? :D

I love...the black humor in this book... but the narration is really where all the humor is, so I hope it can translate well to the tv series..

Turning this into a TV show?? I can see this being really good... I love the subtle and often black humor of this book!

Reading this..is like reading a Jane Austin novel, so much gossip and scandel and hearsay by the English gentlemen...
