I'm really suck on this. Ruth reminds me of my mom...like she's so focused on being liked by people she barely knows that she does things to the determent of relationships with the people closet to her...and then she's just controlling and shitty...not that Kathy is super likable. I'm not sure if I like her either. It's weird. Tommy has his flaws, but Tommy actually seems like a good dude.

This has been 200 pages about two people having a close personal relationship with someone who doesn't deserve them.

Seriously, how does Ruth have friends? How does she have a boyfriend? How has she not been punched by every other character? I stopped putting up with that kind of crap from people in like fourth grade.

Part two is better than part one.

It drives me crazy that the characters aren't more curious. Like...what is wrong with you? I'd be demanding answers left and right.

Come on man. I'm a fourth of the way through this book and NO questions have been answered yet.

It's not a bad book, but it's not a page turner. I could put it down right now and never pick it up again and never give it another thought. Tell me something, damn it. The only reason I'm still interested in it is because I know more than the author's told me.

I started reading this because Krysten mentioned it, and I'm desperate for recommendations. I want easy reads that aren't straight up garbage, and this is perfect.

lol, is this the matrix? This is like a rip off of so many different dystopian stories, but it's not as good as any of them.
